He can't simply ignore them. If he does, they can hit him and he'll get poisoned, and die. And Sasori's heart transfer happens in the blink of an eye, so he just switches from puppet to puppet until Jugo dies of the poison.

Sasori would win unless all the below happend a. Jugo could have an immunity to the poison. b. he could destroy EACH puppet one by one... then find sasori's heart (however that works) and c. Sasori was alone and didn't happen to have any type of back up. i think Jugo could take a bunch of stabs if he were transformed. just wouldn't be able to handle the poison (unless a applied) :D

Well, it doesn't quite work as simply as that. Jugo probably could destroy many of the puppets with a single punch, but could he throw 298 punches without getting scratched by any poison-tipped weapons, as well as surviving Sasori's kazekage puppet? Besides that, it's likely that multiple puppets would be coming at Jugo at once, and he only has two arms. Jugo's strong, but it's speed that's needed to beat Sasori's puppets. Sheer strength alone won't help you against someone like Sasori.

So yeah, I vote "Sasori."
