I concur:

It seems rather sketchy, I seriously do not believe that he could have been killed that easily. We do not have that much info on Zetsu to begin with, so maybe he has some sort of invulnerable, and he's just playing dead.

On the other hand, If he really did die, I will be quite upset.

He's not dead.
When Zetsu split up it seemed more as if he doesnt have bones.
Also if he is a plant then he doesnt have any for sure.

Zetsu is most likely just playing dead. I mean he's a plant-man
and plants don't actually die that easily. Zetsu will be killed
by Sasuke and will be burned by the Amaterasu.
This has already been foreshadowed when Sasuke says
"If he tries anything funny I'll just use Amaterasu".
Raikage will probably mention Zetsu coming into the meeting
and Sasuke will realize what's going on.
