And it depends what level your characters are at and what ninja tags you have. I pretty much went through the whole game with Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru, and Choji and just worked on them until after I had completed the game.

I beat jako, then when I was battling gensho in nine tail foarm, my game froze, and now I can't figure it out

Darn, I hate when my games do that sometimes. I got my game New, hope your game works out because I don't see how you're going to beat it if it freezes on the Kyuubi vs. Gensho fight...
