They were showing how he got his Sharingan, how the fourth was his sensei and what happened to one of his teammates.

it is when kakashi was a young person and he had a team. it was during the third great ninja war and his teacher was minato. it is about how he gets along with obito whom he never getss along with and obito ends up dying at the end. Kakashi took obitos sharingan as a present form obito becuase kakashi has become a jonin

It is the source of all "Obito-Tobi" theories and nothing more! Kidding. It happens to be a pretty interesting story about how Kakashi obtained his Sharingan. It was also the first time Minato (The Fourth Hokage) was really given some characteristics aside from... "being the fourth Hokage" and "being a hero."

dont hate on kakashi my friend. they needed to fullfull the needs of the fans to know how he got his sharingan and i happend to love the chronicles.
