5.demon mion from higurashi no naku koro ni episode 8,while only apearing at the end of this episode 8,she was potentialy scary,even to the point of giving me nightmares


4.yami bakura from the last 3 episodes of yu gi oh season zero,while based on nostalgia,i do admit he still is an awesome villan,he wasnt campy,he wasnt a transvestite,he was just pure evil


3.mariko from elfen lied,she was pure creepyness


2.rowl the conqueror from hokuto no ken,he was able to beat the main character,he won there final fight,the only reason the main kenshiro is alive is becaus rowl gave up

1.sephiroth from final fantasy 7 last order NOT advent children,he was a real villan from final fantasy,he gets this for being in the BEST final fantasy video game and only good final fantasy movie,last order

4. Aizen. He's alright, some minor flaws, but he still a cool villain.

1. Demon Shion. (From Higurashi.) The fourth arc in the first season made me cringe at what she could do to manipulate people so easily into thinking she was innocent...and to actually see what she did to kill the rest of the characters made me love her more.

Tied for 1st - Ms. Takano (Also from Higurashi) Who knew she was actually behind half of the first season's murders? `o.o" Her evil laugh is awesome, and mainly makes me love her evil character. I didn't like her until the second season, but...she's an awesome villain IMO.

- The Millenium Earl (D.Gray Man) no commet
- Shion Sonozaki (Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni) didnt scare me, but totally twisted the plot so much that I actually laughed evily with insanity xD
- Viral (gurren lagann, he was the enemy up to some point, so it totally counts) because he = epic character portrayl and very nice to look at ;D
- Byakuran (katekyo hitman REBORN) because he noms on legos >D
- Pride (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) because he always seems to wrap the story around my mind peice by peice without totally destroying the simplemindedness it takes to comprehend it XD he kind of extends and elaborates the plot while keeping it in range of my comprehesiblilty ^^
if you didnt get that, he's basically a plot explaining b*strd who is evil enough to take hold of a little kid

Hmnn... I would have to say...
1.) Eneru: One Piece. Don't ask, I loved him from the minute I saw him. I like psychopaths who use lightening.
2.) Pain: Naruto. The fact that he's so evil, so surreal, yet so human at the same time makes him seem so realistic, yet so filled with fantasy. It's a great combination to make a truly lovable villian that reverts to being good at the end.
3.) Sebastian: Kuroshitsuji. Instead of listing what I love, how about this. What's NOT to love?
4.) Yami Bakura: Yu-Gi-Oh. I knew I always liked him, but reading YuGiOh Millenium world sealed the deal for me. He's so sexy, so evil, and yet his other half, Ryo Bakura is so innocent, so it creates a compilation that makes him so interesting, and you can't help but become attached to him.
5.) Sasame: Pretear. Okay, maybe he's not so much a villian, but... his willingness to betray the Leafe knights to be with Takako, despite her trying to destroy his comrades makes him a villian. I love him because he's so soft-spoken, yet so broken-hearted and so willing to carry out any desire of his love, Takako, to heal her broken heart and destroy the ones who broke her, but in the end became good again.

Chances are my list would be very different if I included manga villains and characters who were former villains but later became protagonists. I suppose you could call Lordgenome a villain who became a protagonist, although technically it was just a bio-computer made from his DNA, so it's not exactly the same.
