Naruto, with 4 tails, has a protective layer over his skin, that burns things on a molecular level, so not even C4 can get through, one menacing ball, and Deidara would be gone, no one can survive menacing ball, except maybe some like Kakashi(can warp naruto, using Kamui), or Itachi, or pain.

The only thing that's been proven to destroy C4 is lightning jutsu, where was it said anything else can destroy C4?

Also, Naruto's blast takes prep time and can't possibly hit a flying Deidara with the speed he can go at.
