Then Danzo attempts to have Sai assasinate Sasuke under the excuse that that would in turn cause Orochimaru to die. And then he put out a public order to have Sasuke killed on sight, because he learned Sasuke was in the Akatsuki.
He sure seems to want Sasuke dead. Maybe he's trying to make sure Sasuke doesn't kill him after learning the truth. Maybe he doesn't want Sasuke to learn the truth about his Sharingan. All these assasination attemps just seem really suspicious to me.

Naruto, Kakashi, Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Yamato, Sai, and Sakura all knew when Zetsu said he was dead. They probably reported this to Tsunade when they got back, because they wouldn't want people tracking down an Akatsuki who was dead. And Sai probably would've reported this to Danzo, so that he may, for any sick reasons he has, kill Sasuke.

I think that in the anime he did some harsh comentaries about Kakashi, and in the end Kakashi follows the teachings of Sandaime, and the Yondaime (which were the same) and he hate those teachings so at least he hates Kakashi for that...

Danzo is the ANBU Root leader. They assasinate all dangers to village.
I dont know why, but somehow, i wanted Sasuke to be assasinated, but i knowed it will never happen, since he is one of the main charecters.

Maybe it was just a trick to test Sai's loyalty to the foundation. After all, Sai did fail the mission on purpose. But I do wonder why he would try to kill Sasuke knowing Itachi was still alive.

believe me im not trying to be mean or anything but i just gots to say one thing about one of the points. i though sais secret plan was to kill sasuke but it wasnt under danzos orders. danzo wanted to destroy konoha or something or maybe even fixing his sharingan!!!? and his real goal was to finish his bingo book, but im only 50% right in my head atleast cuz since its his job as anbu to assasinate it could be under danzos orders, or the head of the anbu black ops [i think danzo is only head of the foundation or root. but please correct me if im wrong becuz i said this knowing it could be wrong. if i am wrong, i am sorry.

remb the whole reason why itachi wanted sasuke to kill him?......he wanted sasuke to be known as a hero in the villagefor elimanting a traitor and a mudrderer lik himself....he wanted sasuke to be acknowledge by every1 and also itachi wanted to give sasuke a chance to rebuilt the uchiha clan and make it the proud clan it once was(clearing the bad name of the uchiha's)................well i think that maby danzo thought that because of sasuke if the uchiha's came in power again it would mean trouble for him big time.....................and besides i think danzo thought that if itachi ever tells sasuke the truth then sasuke will be hellbent on rewnvenge and will come after him...

I had the impression that the Uchiha clan was always not fully apreciated, but they prefered to have them by their side than to fight against him, remember that Senju clan and the Uchiha clan always fought for the control of all the clans to build the village, the first fought agaisnt Madara, Nidaime created a police force and put it under the control of the Uchiha clan to gave them a false sense of power inside the village and keep them more easily under control, one of the hokages, don't remember which, moved every Uchiha to the same part of the village (creating some kind of discrimation inside Konoha towards the Uchiha), I think that the Uchiha clan was always a bit hated by the majority of Konoha, my idea is that Itachi tried to broke the chain of hatred towards the Uchiha's, making everyone have pitty of sasuke, avoiding that sasuke share the same conspiracy theories than other members of his clan, and what you said of people seeing like a good avenger......

I'm guessing that Danzo probably does want Sasuke's Sharigan now. Maybe at first it was because he was afraid Sasuke would somehow find out the truth, and Sasuke would come after him.

I don't know. We'll see what happens.
