While it may be true that the 4th died from the justu used it is only told that someONE must die in order for a bijuu to be sealed away. For naruto it was his father. And if you are refering to the mother that must mean you are speakiing of garaa BUT who dies could be different in each case.

The process does not kill the mother it just happened in Gaara's case due to birth complications.

Everyone might tell her she's death because they think she's death too. They don't know the truth.

The third is death because the person who uses the jutsu get sealed into the shinigami's stomach.

True. BUT people can wonder. There is no reason not to wonder over this. I mean where is this woman or where is her grave. The point of forums are to talk and discuss... all I am suggesting is we talk about his mother.

More than likely, they'll never go into whether Naruto's mom is dead or alive. She just hasn't been a character yet for so long it'd feel tacked on.

If I had to pick though, she'd have to be dead. It's the only way to explain why they went so long without mentioning her at all ;) .

I kind of hope she is dead. As much as I loved reading about Naruto with his dad, if Kushina was alive and she just showed up out of the blue now, or Naruto goes on a search to find her. Kishimoto would have to come up with a really, and I do mean really good reason for her to have stayed away from Naruto for that long.

That I really have to agree with ,but if she is dead I wish Kishimoto would atleast tell us how she died. He owes us an explanation :!: :!: :twisted:

I can come up with a reason just from one of the last chapters.

When the fourth was talking to Naruto, he said the reason only a select few knew that he was Naruto's dad, and why they couldn't tell him, was because if word got out then Naruto would be in constant danger. So, people obviously knew that Kushina was with the fourth, so if she just came up and told Naruto that she was his mother, it would put him in danger.

Basically, she stayed away to keep him safe.

However, I don't know what I really think about the subject so I can't answer with my opinion.

i really dont know..but poor naruto..he does'nt even now that his father was the fourth hokage...there is a chance that she is alive i mean..when he see's his father in manga number 400 and something...something need's to change no?

New to these boards and found this an interesting topic.

I think that she may still be alive. I have been wondering lately; if Naruto only has the Yang Chakra of the Kyubi sealed in him than maybe the Yin Chakra was sealed in someone else. That could be his Mother.

It is really hard to say what is going to happen with the series from here on out. Naruto now has Sennin powers but obviously still lacks total control over the Kyubi. I would guess that his mother is going to come into play in him finally mastering control over the Kyubi if she is in fact still alive.

Possibly Madaras is going to be going after her and Naruto is going to have to find her first or rescue her from him as part of the final battle with Madaras.

All in all, in the end we are just going to have to wait and see what happens. 8-)

I am pretty sure that it has been stated that the Yin chakra was sealed into the fourth, however I may be wrong.

Yin chakra was sealed into aboy named Sora from the fire temple it was told in the fire ark and also whenever something happens to Sora, naruto senses it and Sora's Nine tailed jincuuriki was really formed by his dad. His Dad collected the left over chakra the nine tails left during its attack and took several years to seal. His classified as a pseudo jinchuuriki :D

That was filler which means it was done by the animators to space the anime from the manga, so it wasn't real. I'm not sure if we even know what happened to the yin chakra.

I think she is dead.
Minato only needed to die because of the jutsu that sealed the nine tailed demon into Naruto. I don't think anything happened to the mother but I'm pretty sure she is dead.

I say she's alive. Like someone said before, she stayed away to keep Naruto safe.
And like another person said before, someone has to die. In this case it was Minato. He probably couldn't find it in him to kill his lover/wife. Gaara's mother dies but his father lived.
So I say that scenario is backwards for Naruto. His father died and his mother lived.

Well i dont know if his mom is dead or alive. What i read on wiki (which is not always true) is that she's presumed dead
