Basically what happened:

Spider-man #700 opens with Peter (Ock) and MJ cuddling and they talk about them possibly getting together again when an alarm goes off that Ock set up for any time the real dock Ock (Peter) escaped from prison with the help of Hydro-Man,Scorpion and the Trapster.

-They escaped to their secret lair and their they try to revive him.

-They get Peter up and running and Peter tries to get the brain swapping device ready again.

-Later they get to the avengers building where the real Doc Ock has Peter loved ones hidden away for safety.

-Real Peter shows up and Doc Ock attacks him.

-Hydro-Man gets sucked up like sand man did.

-Scorpion gets his jaw torn off by fake peter on one punch.

-Doc Ock grabs fake Peter and crashes in the Avenger's tower window where fake Peter makes a web air bag on the ground.

-Dock Ock tries to switch brains but fake Peter took precautions by wearing a special armor.

-Real Peter realizes that he can't switch brains and tries to transmit his memories to fake Peter revealing that the real Doc Ock just wanted to be Spider-Man.

-Real Peter asks Doc Ock to do what is right.

-He agrees and after another Uncle Ben moment real Peter dies.

Real Peter passes on the mantle to Doc Ock after Dock Ock promises to not harm anyone innocent after this revelation and makes sure that Spider-Man is no longer considered a villain.Dock Ock takes up the name Superior Spider-Man.

So basically its now Doc Ock with Spider-man's body that will be saving the day? Its never gonna be the same. He's not gonna have the wisecracks that Peter did. But knowing comic book logic, the real Peter Parker will somehow come back to life with a new body of his own and then either continue being Spider-Man in that body, or somehow switch with Doc Ock again if for some reason his new body doesn't have his powers.

No Vivi, you aren't. I get the feeling its not gonna be too long before they find a way or reason to bring the real Peter Parker back to life in his own body.
