would it help if people subbed behind the person no matter the range of the attack.
an example would be pts tenten using her jutsu and someone subs it from across the map but instead of being spawned in the same spot, they are subbed behind tenten.
would the game be more balanced if you always subbed behind someone no matter how far away from them you are?
it would help prevent ranged jutsu spam.

Yeah, that would make the game a lot more balanced. You would no longer sub just to get hit again.

I think this would actually hurt the game more than help it. Part of being a good player is figuring out how to get to your opponent. Subbing an attack and showing up right behind your opponent would make it a bit too easy, if you ask me.

No, what they need to do is return iFrames to subs. What you said would break the game for many characters and make some characters terrible. Pretty much hat RSage said
Then make dash canceling a simple return to a neutral state.

I think it's fine as is. If I were to change it, I'd perhaps add the iFrames back for one. The second thing I'd do is make the option of subbing behind the opponent to counter or away to regain momentum, chakra, etc. for when you've really got yourself in a pinch.

I think the removal of Iframes is fine. I think they just need to look a little closer at what exactly is considered a projectile. Or possibly just lengthening the distance one knj's a projectile. Although changing this would affect any mutiple hit projectile jutsu rendering them almost useless, I.E., kakuzu, deidara, tsuchikage.
