When team 7 met Haku and Zabuza, Kakashi admitted that haku was stronger then naruto and him self, once trapped in the ice mirrors, although kakashi will see haku's attacks as sasuke was able to with 1 or 2 tomone sharingan, i dont think he has enough to counter all the needles flying towards every insta-kill spot on him

it kakashi knows about haku`s kekki genki he will not give him time to use it, remember sasuke was able to knock him down before he uses his style

he can also use genjitsu to slow haku down or even capture him

Wow ppl don't overestimate haku. Ice mirrors will fail! Kakashi just has to go underground to dodge. Kakashi is the ultimate version if the 2 gennin

Base Gai > Kakashi >>>> Unweighted Lee >>> Two Tomoe Sasuke > Haku

Part 1 Kakashi would destroy Haku. With or without KKG. Even though Kakashi hadn't scratched S class yet he was certainly leagues ahead of Haku.

Kakashi's expression was a reference to the extreme exceptions in the Narutoverse with ridiculous powers. For example, in terms of skill with espionage and intelligence Kabuto was just as good as him. With regards to overall skill as a shinobi and mastery of the sharingan Itachi at Naruto's age would also be a threat to Kakashi.

Then there are those with supernatural gifts that make them A class automatically. For example, young Nagato killed two chuunin with no formal training even though the element of surprise played a role, Rinnegan automatically puts him high in the shinobi world. Same goes for Gaara and his absolute defense in addition to his bijuu. Both younger than Naruto but "stronger" than Kakashi.

Kakashi's reference did not directly address Haku, but suggested that young shinobi of his caliber do exist.

I can understand that going underground may not work in this case. But honestly all kakashi has to do is use a defensive jutsu to surround himself with. The needles barely have any penetrative power as all they do is stick into you like a shuriken. A simple taxless jutsu could defend from the attacks. Haku would waste his chakra and kakashi would break the mirrors, than kill haku with a chidori like he always has.

Naw Kakashi can just dodge them all and it's possible for him to use genjutsu he has lots of clones

haku would have knoweledge form watching the battle and not make eye contact

Kakashi is faster, more experienced, and has a better arsenal than Haku. Genjutsu is just a quick example of this fact.

kakashi needs eye contact for genjutsu but I agree Haku can not keep up
