Konan easily loses without prep.

I dont see konan surviving deidara C3 which produced an explosion as large as the entire sand village. Deidara can also overwhelm konan with his various clay creations. Or suprise her with a exploding clay clone.

Also, the paper Konan uses for her jutsus come from her own body (actually it is her body)

I am not certain. Deidara has used more powerful techniques, but that's only because he participates in many more battles than Konan. And I doubt that Pain would choose a weakling to cooperate with during his missions.

Konan was able to bring much trouble to Tobi, who lost an arm and an eye in his attempts to kill her. And I doubt that Deidara could give the same resistance against such a powerful shinobi as Tobi.

With the techniques I have seen, Deidara should win - unless Konan can trap him in the six billion paper bomb trap which she used against Tobi. I see no way for Deidara to survive that.

Even if she used the six billion paper bomb trap, deidara could probably blow himself up first, either way she dies.

I'm not debating either way yet, but couldn't Konan survive C4 by just splitting into individual pieces of paper? I'm pretty sure she doesn't "breathe in" anything during that form. Just a thought.

Assuming that there's no prep, since that's what the BG defaults are.

Without prep, Konan's only option is to basically use those crappy rolling papers or whatever they are, which is something that Deidara can easily brush off. Once Deidara takes to the sky, he's got a couple more advantages as well.

If worst comes to worst, C4 Karura ends it.

Deidara at range > Konan anytime. One small nano spider can blow up paper with relative ease. C2 is a win, C3 is a win, C4 is domination. I don't see any way Konan has a hope of winning this.

Pretty sure Pein chose her because she was his best friend.



In the end, Konan gets blown up. What ever techniques she uses with paper will easily be burnt by Deidara's bombs.
