Ideas For A Contest!

Sooner or later in the future, I will need some ideas from you guys to make a contest.

Mostly suggestions is all I need and I will create the contest which is the one I think will be best and active for the community. If I don't choose your idea, it may be used for a later purpose so no worries. ;)

The ideas doesn't have to be only a Naruto-based contest. It could be something similar to my contest. But it could be anything: quizzes, short-answer questions, multiple choice questiones, etc......

But the rules in the forums still apply and the rules for this thread is:

-Do not spam in this thread
-Only ideas of contest is allowed here
-You can discuss the ideas that users have shared

Create-A-Clan - Users are tasked with creating their own hypothetical 'clan' based in the world of Naruto, developing their customs and techniques, as well as delving into details about their history, designing a clan symbol, whatever really. Again, a vote is held later to determine the forum favourite.

Yes, they are uninspired, but no-one else has posted anything, so this is my attempt to 'get the ball rolling' as it were. I'll rack my brains later for more ideas if needed.

Maybe who could have the best costume as a Naruto character. Kind of like a cosplay, as a contest.

We could also go for something far simpler. An official debate, Role-play fight or short-story contest.

Anyway, just on the drawing concept, how about one where people are given an anime (that can be posted on here of course) and have different rounds with a different anime concept given to them each round, person with the most best drawings from all the different rounds wins. Could be rated by score out of a certain number, perhaps have more then one judge, each judge gives out of ten or something, to be fair though, judges shouldn't be given the name of who draws them, though someone will have to keep records of who's drawings are who's, yet not be a judge perhaps just the middle person, that keeps everything organized.

At any rate, an anime-themed art competition is also an intriguing proposal, and I wholeheartedly agree with the idea of not revealing the names of the artists, that way we can hopefully eliminate any bias that may manifest. Perhaps everyone should send their drawings to the contest host and he/she will then distribute them amongst the judges, without giving away names?

The other day I was thinking that it would be awesome if there was an AMV/MAD competition on here. However, I felt that AMVs would take too long to make for just one contest, but then this thread appeared.....I feel that it's a sign :lol:

It would be quite simple. After signing up, contestants upload AMV's that they created (with non-viz anime of course) and the general public watches them all and votes.

Ah, curse copyright issues! In that case, Throw Rasen-Shuriken's suggestion makes sense, provided we remove the public vote aspect for determining the winner.You don't neccassarily have to remove the public voting aspect of a Naruto-related contest, you can have a table and people can ask in PM to see all the pictures and then decide by voting on the table. Since you can just put all the pictures or links of them in a PM and they can go through them all for themselves..
You can send to multiple people and also forward the PM over and over again so you don't have to keep sending out a new PM.

In the PM you number them all 1 to what ever number and same in the table 1 to whatever number, then they can just match up and vote on the number or numbers of the pictures they liked best in the table.

Greatest Anime Ever (just Greatest Naruto Character Ever)
do other Greatest video Game again as well.
Pokemon wifi tourmament for both 4th and 5th gen games with diffcnce sets up, rules and battle formats.
more anime triava contest base on other anime like one piece, Bleach, SAO, pokemon, FMA and other.

sorry for posting again I came up with another idea for contest.

what if we do a monthly CA drawing. Users can sign up once a month to win their very own CA. By picking out random number and using this http://www.random.org/ we can decide the winner.

On another note it may be irrelevant but I think the site should have achievements given to people for certain things where you can see how to get them like xbox achievements and they are displayed on your profile :P

How about a Naruto Quiz you give us pm about questions on naruto for those who enter You send them questions to do with Naruto if they get them wrong they get kicked out of the contest if they get them right they go through to the next round if they win they get a prize, I dunnno prizes on the forum. ;]

Why haven't I been in here before? Tha hell.
For some reason I've always been skipping this section.
I think more regulars should come up with fun ideas for contests.
Doesn't always have to be Naruto or anime related if you ask me.
Its about the thought that counts. Good contests stimulate activity.
