Gai or Guy

I've seen his name spelled either of those 2 ways. How do you spell it?

I spell it Guy. Probably because I like American words.

i agree, it was originally spelled Gai so thats how it should b spelled, and spelling it Gai isnt necessarily wrong it's just the english version like Pein and Pain :roll:

Might Guy is the English name. I guess it was changed because Maito Gai is essentially expressing "Might Guy" but English speakers might not readily pick that up.

It's just that when it's romanized from the Japnese, it's "Maito Gai".
