I think -rep and bad pms shouldnt be done to toma

I think toma shouldnt get -rep and bad pms bc all he is doing is his job. All he is doing is what the mods tell him to do its his duty to do that.So i think that he shouldnt be brought down for something he is told to do.

I believe the Darkness Village fell because the Kages did not have enough love for his/her village to stick through the tough times and enforce a solution. What happened to it should serve as a lesson to us all.
I am not disrespecting the Shinobi of the former Village, I'm just stating why i think this happened.
Toma did what he had to do, and that's the end of it. Receiving a -rep is not anything to freak out about, and I'd think long and hard to make sure giving a -rep to someone, to make sure that my reason is valid.

its true it was their own fault. and well we all agreed on that. We didnt wanna do it but we had to show some back bone and show you guys that its a serious thing (the villages) and that it can happen to anyone, he deleted 45k posts, he will delete your village if it gets like the darkness (rip). so kages keep doing a good job and hope this never happens to yours :\

I thought this thread was to encourage people to stop leaving undeserved neg reps on the people who are helping here and only doing their job, even when it is doing something unpopular like disband a village.

But, some of the posts here indicate instead that Jeremy is advocating some sort of special treatment system?? Am I misunderstanding?

I'm all for encouraging people to behave properly. No leaving neg reps because you disagree with someone, those should be reserved for those who are blatantly violating TOA or disrespecting the forum and the members here. I'm not in agreement that mods should get some sort of special immunity from neg reps... after all, they are just regular members like us... only more/better. LOL

Couldn't said it better myself. However, there is a clear distinction between the "moderators" and the "administrators" on this forum. The admins are SRhyse and Sage Mode, who are paid Viz employees. They get special powers because they are the ones in charge of the forum. It is in a way, "their" forum. However, if they ever make a bad post or break any rules, don't hesitate to neg-rep them.

There are no real moderators on this site, with the possible exception of Toma RNK. Even he doesn't have moderator rights to all the forums.

Take me, I'm only a moderator over the villages, because the village forums needed cleaning and someone to watch over it. I am only a user like the rest of you who have been trusted by the admins to do a task. If I ever make a bad post or break rules - or anything else that deserves to be repped down on - feel free to rep me down. I'm seriously considering repping people UP if they rep me down for a good reason. It means they are following the forum rules and use the rep system correctly - meaning they are good users who deserve the rep.

Also, if you neg rep someone for a good reason and they retaliate, report them to the admin and most likely, their retaliation will be removed. If they keep doing it, all of their rep powers will most likely be taken away.
