Yamato can use any wood style feats shown from any character.
Asuma has Edo Feats but is alive.
Kurenai gets all Anime Feats.
Guy is what ever he has in the manga.
Starting Distance 75M.
In character but with intent to kill.
Just bored.

Guy and Kurenai win easily! With all of Guy's abillities, he could solo! Asakujaku and Daytime tiger ftw! Plus a genjutsu user, Asuma and Yamato dont have a chance!

Nunchucks > All
Gates > All
Gai wins his partner is insignificant :P
Edit: Wow wait does that mean yamato gets pollen?

I was going to say Guy and Kurenai stomp, but this makes things tricky. Edo Madara has some ridiculous Wood Style feats, but he also had infinite chakra to work with. Yamato obviously doesn't have infinite chakra or as strong a Wood Style as Hashirama/Edo Madara so it's hard for me to give him feats he's just not capable of.
Even with beefed up wood style though, I think Guy and Kurenai would have a good chance. Guy is extremely fast (and strong) in Gates and Asuma and Yamato have not demonstrated any genjutsu feats to defend against Kurenai's genjutsu.

Well wood style is slow so Guy would easily be able to blitz him and force him to use close combat and Guy would win that easily. The pollen is not instant so Guy can go gates and have intense energy so the pollen would not be very effective
Kurenai can at least dodge and trap him in genjutsu to distract him for a while till Guy is done with yamato and ready to defeat Guy
Yamato is ANBU level so it is safe to assume he is strong with genjutsu release
Basically Guy is way out of their league and can solo

It's not fair to give Yamato mokuton feats from Madara when Yamato doesn't have the stamina to perform them. Are we supposed to assume he can make an entire forest for Advent of the Flowering Trees. Gai has the potential to solo but by introducing that outlier it becomes pure speculation as to who can win. Hashirama's Mokuton was strong enough to hold bijuu and Madara's was so huge it took hundreds of Naruto clones using Oodoma Rasengans to blow it back. I don't think Gai could destroy all of that without using 7 gates and if he wastes them all taking down Yamato. Asuma would be able to kill him. IDK where Kurenai would fit into this, maybe she could save him but I'm not sure given how little screen time she's been given.

Due to Hair Camoglauge wood style is useless. She walks right through solid objects with ease.
Even IF Yamato can use all of those powerful wood style jutsu's he would not use them off the bat.
No body is as good genjutsu wise as Kurenai (in this battle) So Kurenai can capture Yamato in an intense genjutus and Guy can land a fatal hit to Yamato or Asuma.
Genjutsu would take out at least one of them
7th gate Guy would take out at least one of them
Guy easily evades slow wood style with his amazing speed and even Ino dodge Asuma's wind attacks and Guy can blitz out of the ash while Kurenai would use genjutsu to make him miss.
Thus Guy/Kurenai wins

Kurenai can use AoE type Genjutsu? I gave her anime feats but I actually don't even know nor care what she's capable of to be honest
If not then she won't survive before she gets hit by a Wind Tunnel or Trees before she catches one of them in a genjutsu.
They lose because of Guy not "no genjutsu resistance" :p

I know it isn't proven or anything, but I'd assume that Yamato can break genjutsu, possibly Asuma too. But Gai still ROFLstomps.

Gai in the 7th Gate will still be able to fight Asuma and end him in 2 seconds if he used Afternoon Tiger before that. did you not see him deliverer a devastating blow to Kisame when he used that attack. the only reason why Gai looked that bad when he used AT in the recent chapters is because. well he has been fighting since the beginning and using his gates long before entering the battle with naruto! also he used that in base, I believe that Gai feels nothing in Gates thats why when he turns it off, after like 10 minutes, he starts to feel the effects.
