I'd say it's up to probability. We saw that no major characters died in the first day of war yet 40,000 of the ASF had perished (all being fodder ninja) and 50,000 of the White Zetsu Army had been killed. If we assume that the main and supporting characters from both sides took about 10,000 fodder / zetsu with them. The score is 30,000 shinobi : 40,000 zetsu clones...however, we have to take into account that the fodder shinobi were allowed to use ninjutsu whereas this thread is strictly hand to hand combat. We've seen that the Zetsu are pretty durable and since they can't use ninjutsu anyways they must be defeating all their opponents up close meaning that's the are where they most likely have the most skill. Also, the Zetsu can work together to form structures like the venus fly trap which we saw Naruto and Bee fight against. I'd say it's about a 60 , 40 split in favor of the Zetsu if you were to do this match 100 times.

Zetsu, Fodder ninja are kind of retarded I mean thins is ninja war, they have jutsu's and yet they decided to run at the opposing army with kunai's.
