Nope, it was konan when she had 600 billion paper tags explode and Tobi was very damaged from all of that. Lemme find out the chapter...

Edit: Chapter 510. Konan states that Tobi can only warp himself through physical objects for five minutes. Well, there is an interval afterall....but Tobi was within that interval and yet he didn't use it..

You were both talking about different things. Daphne was talking about Pein's gravity thing and X was talking about Tobi's invincibility.

But yeah, Tobi can warp back to our dimension, but timing is key on things like this. The explosion just happened when he warped into Kamui, then was faced with the clone immediately and couldn't warp back without being blown to bits. He just has to wait it out.

Tobi might not have been able to use other jutsu at the same time as using the rinnegan to absorb the bijuu bomb. It would also likely take him a few seconds to disperse it, which could cause him to get hurt by an alternate attack.

Tobi can't warp himself back from alternate dimension to real world because Naruto's Kurama punch is still passing through his face.
The Kamui+Kunai and Naruto's Kurama punch were executed at the same time..

If Tobi avoided the Kunai in alternate dimension He's gonna get hit by Naruto in the real world.

he answered that....that next time i'd just have to know which direction the Kamui attack is coming from...in other words,

he didn't know which direction the kunai was coming from in the other dimension.
