I think it some kind of holiday I think.

EDIT: I’m assuming that a lot of the editors and manga artists are on vacation, considering it is August, therefore summer.

The reason why the mangakas are on break is because of Obon. The online chapter 597 is supposed to be released in Japan in WSJ on August 20th. So actually, online chapters come out before Japan gets it RAW. Chapter 598 will be released on its normal day(Wed) the 22nd.
