I would've agreed with you about Kishi not being that obvious if it wasn't for him finally revealing that Minato was Naruto's father (something many of us saw plain as day long before it became official). Because of this, it's very possible that at this stage Tobi is in fact Obito.

Just imagine, that someone who saved Obito which that would be Madara and Madara is working with Tobi. Then let's say Madara died, because he was betrayed by Tobi. So he kept Obito around and took his eye and say he needed it because he convinced Obito to help him in doing the Moon Eye Plan. Then tobi reveals someone else that we do or do not might know the person. But then tells Kakashi that Obito is still alive with him.
