Idk about who would win in a fight, but wood release is a better KG in my opinion. It is very versatile because it can be used for offense and defense, minor tracking with seeds, insta-house maker jutsu, infiltration, tailed beast control, flowering trees for capturing, and wood clones.

Darui might have more firepower, but I think Yamato is better overall for the reasons mentioned above (except for flowering trees).

I think Darui would win. Wood release is comprised of water and earth. which are both weak to lightning. not to mention i believe his storm style being more agile than yamatos sturdy wood would allow darui to work around the wood.

I also don't see how growing trees does anything either.

If he runs towards Yamato as he grows the trees, he's not gonna get caught as Yamato won't "stab" himself with his own trees.
