Something tells me Tobi doesnt want Madara to work with him. Because we were told that Nagato's jutsu should have been used to revive Madara yet Tobi and Pain didnt do anything. When Tobi realised the real Madara was ressurected by Edo Tensei he didnt show any emotions.. which is normal because of the mask and because of who he is but if he honoured Madara in mind he should have said some kind of exclamation. Also if Tobi honoured Madara in this whole time he (tobi) should have done research and with Nagato's help they would have revived Madara via Edo Tensei long long long time ago.

But why didnt they ?

I don't remember Tobi saying this, but I read it somewhere on the Narutopedia.
When Tobi realised the real Madara was ressurected by Edo Tensei he didnt show any emotions.. which is normal because of the mask and because of who he is but if he honoured Madara in mind he should have said some kind of exclamation.
Well... Tobi played careless idiot for long time. Yet he commanded Akatsuki from Pain and controlled 4th or 3rd mizukage (I don't remember which one). Probably he could even cry between or even in fight and we wouldn't know about it.
Also if Tobi honoured Madara in this whole time he (tobi) should have done research and with Nagato's help they would have revived Madara via Edo Tensei long long long time ago.
The easiest way would be probably trading eyes of uchiha for techniques and wisdom with Orochimaru.
But why didnt they ?
Maybe Madara gave instructions when and how revive him?

Yes I remember it. The jutsu in question was used to bring the Leaf villagers back to life. It was after the pain arc that Tobi said that "jutsu was supposed to be for me."

What you just pointed out was when it was confirmed that Tobi and Madara had worked together and that they both were connected to Nagato as a boy.

tobi commonly talked like he was Madara, so by saying "for me" it might have been as "for my plan to raise Madara." ET Madara expected to come back, just not by ET.

It was still Tobi that said it. And he said it when he found out Pain was dead and brought back the villagers. Madara didn't know Pain was dead.
