The teams are Yamato Naruto Sakura and Sai vs Guy Lee Neji and Tenten

New Team Kakashi would win. Sai creates ink birds for them all to fly overhead. Team Guy wouldn't be able to reach them except for Tenten's weapons which could be dodged. Naruto summons clones to fight for him. Yamato uses long-ranged elemental attacks. Sai uses ink animals. Sakura provides healing support. It would take awhile, but they would eventually win.

Unfortunately for Team Guy, they have no way of beating four-tails Naruto. I'll actually use an analogy to explain. It's like Team Guy is a group of cats trying to jump up and attack a group of flying birds (New Team 7). It's very unlikely that the cats would be able to touch one of the birds, but if they did, a hawk (or whatever bird makes sense to you to symbolize the nine-tails) would swoop down and kill the cats for vengeance with them being able to do nothing but run away.

As in IF they can kill one of his teammates like what happened in the Naruto vs Pain battle. Losing Sakura, the girl he has a crush on and his long-time teammate, would do the trick. This is assuming Team Guy can touch any of them.

Naruto had to be pinned down by Orochimaru before Yamato could get close enough. Also, at that time Yamato didn't have to worry about enemy ninja. In this case, he couldn't get close enough to Naruto without Team Guy hitting him or four-tails Naruto doing it.

They're close, of course, but Gaara's from the sand village so Naruto doesn't see him as often as Sakura. I'm just saying he went two-tails for a guy he's seen probably less than 10 times (some of these times, Gaara was an enemy and a psychopath.) I'm pretty sure he'd at least go four-tails for the girl he's liked and been friends with for years.

I'm sure just Sakura dying would do the trick, if it even gets to that point. Again, Sai's ink birds are a great boon to New Team 7.

So Sai directs the ink birds; the others don't have to. Not if he disconnects the paths or creates bindings out of them to capture the enemies running up them.

I kinda get what Leewannabe is trying to say. Naruto does not want to use the fox power because it is not his. Also that Naruto has reach the age where he wants to do everything by himself to improve and he can not use wind style shuriken cuz it is too dangerous.

Guy would have to disconnect the wood AFTER the clones could jump down to safety. Yamato is not fast enough with wood style to bind some of the fastest ninja in the leaf. He had trouble doing it to Kabuto and Saskue easily broke out of wood dome. Also while the Clones fall from the sky that is perfect target practice for TenTen and Neji.

The farther they go up the farther Yamato has to extend the path of the wood style. Again Yamato has no endurance. There is a limit to how far the birds can go... and I am not saying it will or is BUT the chance of rain would render Sai useless.

New Team Kakshi can win but Team Guy has a higher possiblity.

but you know that if they fly of of tentens range they wont be able to attack team guy neither, none of them has attack with longer range than tenten, so if they come closer to attack , the ink birds will be struck down by tenten while guy and lee take care of the clones and neji blocks anu other attack that might come! And if they fall close to team guy, they are finished!

VERY UNLIKELY for Naruto to go 4-tails in this situation.

He would only go 4-tails if he sees that Sakura died or something. He does not have a very close relation to anyone else.

Also I doubt TenTen would Kill Sakura just fire weapons at her legs so she could not move. Then Sakura would stop the bleeding up unable to move.

I think this is like a sparring match so I do not see naruto going 4tails against his friends

I really only see one road to victory for Team Kakashi: if Sai can get protected long enough to perform his fuinjutsu, Team Kakashi should have it, problem is...Lee isn't restricted from going Five Gates and tearing the forest to pieces, blitzing Sakura and Sai. Also, even without the Gates we saw how ridiculous Gai is last chapter.

It was already stated back in part 1 that in his base form Gai is faster than Kakashi so the first and second gate should be more than Naruto can handle, even after mastering wind release Naruto's clones hadn't increased to such a level where they would be able to give Kakashi trouble so there's no way Gai has a problem. Not to mention Gai has strength comparable to Kisame's...those nunchaku would break the bones of any one that gets knicked by them.

The real feat that puts Team Gai over the edge for me is what Gai did in his most recent fight, to me that demonstrated at least when it comes to pure form, Gai is the best taijutsu user in the Narutoverse. Tobi was just barely phasing through his nunchaku. GAI WENT TO WORK. After seeing Yamato get blitzed and captured by a non Sage Mode Kabuto (even if body shedding did surprise him) I don't see him being able to handle that kind of explosive power. The only thing I see Neji being needed for here is to fodderize some clones and maybe pressure Sai so Lee can deliver the final blow.
