Edo Tensei release

In chapter 591 Madara states that if you know the seal you can undo the edo tensei contract. In chapter 592 I was hoping for more explanation on how he released himself but there wasn't.

So my question is, how is it that Madara can break out of the jutsu and Tobirama creator of edo tensei could do nothing about it and became Orochimaru's pupet?

Also Madara's knowledge of edo tensei is another mystery. Edo tensei is something that is prepared before the fight. Both Oro and Kabuto raised the dead before the battle, when it comes down to use them they just summoned them. Summoning edo tensei and creating edo tensei have two different seals So where I'm getting at is this, Madara could not have learned how to create or dispel edo tensei by copying in the battlefield. Someone must have willingly showed Madara how to create Edo tensei.

This leaves 3 options about how he nows about edo tensei. He learned it from either Tobirama, Orochimaru or he is the original creator but Tobirama somehow takes credit for it.

Tobirama started and invented the jutsu but gave up on it and stopped doing it because it was so evil.

Yes, Madara clearly stated that the risk of edo tensei is when the user summoned someone who knows the seal. As how I understand it there are certain conditions must met before the ET zombie can break free from the summoner binding.

1. The Summoner should first release the ET Jutsu. Once its released the contract between the Summoner and the ET zombie would end as well.

2. This will create an opening for the ET zombie who knows the seal to renew that contract and break free from the summoner contract.

In Tobirama's case.. remember.. he never had the chance to break free. There was no opening for Tobirama because of the fact that Oro did not release his ET jutsu. Hiruzen just sealed them away using Death Reaper.

The problem is.. Had Madara learned it from Tobirama, Nagato would not be needed to revive him through Samasara Heaven's Path Jutsu. Madara knowing Edo Tensei is really mind blowing.. Honestly.

Rikudo I would ad one thing but maybe its just me.Madara couldn't know the seal of kabutos edo tensei contract cuz he was long gone and only kabs knew it.So I think when kabs contract broke madara made a new contract by using the edo tensei himself.Cuz if he just renewed kabs contract wouldn't he still be under same conditions when he was under kabs control and still be his puppet?I think madara made his own contract and now hes user of his ET...its pretty farfetched but its ok I guess....Now the question is how madara learned ET?

madara could have learned about the jutsu before konoha started. when the uchiha and senju fought. he and his brother would have had fights with hash and tobirama. he could've used the sharingan to copy the hand seals. this would've been before he got EMS

that is one way he would've learned the hand seals but it still wouldnt answer how he knew how to get out. i dont think tobirama would casually tell him that.

This could be a lot simpler. Kabuto summoned Madara earlier to get Tobi's cooperation, granted the "camera" angle of the manga was such that nobody knew who was in the coffin until later. When he was summoned, is it possible that Madara observed the jutsu then? Even if he was not conscious, his sharingan/rinnegan may have copied the jutsu and now he has the chance to use it.

Madara probably learned ET from watching Tobirama since the 1st and 2nd Hokages are brothers.

It's implied that Madara lived a little while after his fight with Hashi. Probably long enough to observe the creation/use of this particular jutsu throughout what I'd assume is him spying on the leaf as always

^ yes madara was expecting nagato to revive him. he also voiced his disappointment when he realised he was summoned by ET
