Well, personally, my sort of 'dream ending' at this point would be that Naruto dies, but not before 'redeeming' Sasuke, and Sasuke becomes Hokage in Naruto's stead and carries on his dreams and philosophies. I think that would be far better than Naruto living. Alternately, Sasuke could redeem himself and give his life. ...Or, they could both die. Either way, it'd be a better ending if at least one of them isn't there to see it.

One way or another, Sasuke will be 'saved' by the end of the manga. I'm just hoping Kishi does it in the right way.

Alternate ending #2 Both Naruto and Sasuke dies so Shikamaru is made the next Hokage. Now that would be a twist.

I kind of want Naruto to grow out of his being Hokage dream. You don't need to be Hokage to be a great ninja, i.e. Kakashi.

But if it isn't Naruto...I wanna see Konohamaru do it. Replace his grandfather, I think that's heart warming.

EDIT: Of course people would counter that statement saying Naruto could replace his dad, but I think Konohamaru would be a shock/just feels more right. I mean Tsunade came out of nowhere and became Hokage. Why can't Konohamaru?
