First saw him at the 2011 BET Awards Cypher, thought he was a little crazy then but listened to some of his stuff; he's definitely got it. Anyone wanna toss me some links?

Living in Ohio for college, this is all i heard. Now maybe I'm a little biased because of it but I don't like him one bit. Maybe it's because he was so overplayed.

However, I did buy a ticket to see him live because my friends were doing it (yeah peer pressure) and he does a crazy on-stage performance. There were like 6 check points of security before you could even get into the concert though. People kept complaining because they couldn't bring their cigarettes in.

Still not a fan of his music though, it's just not for me.

He can spit fast...but that's about it.
His lyrics are too immature.

I don't mean too immature in the sense of him cursing. That's fine. Rappers do that.

I mean immature in the sense that they have little meaning and aren't all that interesting. His wordplay seems very simple to me. And it's a shame because
it's like his mouth is moving faster than his brain can think in a way.

Either he should get better at writing lyrics...or peform other people's raps.

Rhymes a word with the same word and always reminds me that Kurt Cobain has apparently risen from the dead. It's a little far fetched to say he's whack but could perhaps play around with a new style.

Isn't that a remix?

Anywho I'm not the most orthodox critic of rap.
After all...I actually find Vanilla Ice to be thoroughly entertaining.
Maybe I don't "get" rap. But I think I know what I like...Money!

Kendrick Lamar blew everyone out of the water in that Cypher.
