Need help with c.dash vs sub

Hey guys so ive played a handful of online battles however i always seem to be a bit slow when it comes to c.dashing when the other person subs and also when i sub and try to c.dash into them they c.dash into me much quicker, is there a way to time the c.dash perfectly? I always do it right when i see the tree log lol..but it seems im always the one getting c.dash into. Any help, advice would be appreciated :D

When your doing a combo, try to predict when there going to sub. Usually people sub like 2-4 hits into the combo.

Depending on the situation, take it slow. No need to MASH the O/B button. That way you can predict easier. Not like you were gonna get off too much damage anyway

ill try that, but i sub usually at random intervals to confuse the opponent yet he still gets me most of the time...=/
