Shino vs Itachi

Itachi's genjutsu doesn't effect shino since his bugs will break him out in an instant.

Shino can let his bugs take the hit of amaterasu in his place and as previously seen amaterasu can be avoided by simply constantly moving.

Restrictions: Susano'o

Susano is a game ender is many situations and would more then surely take Shino out, withought one of the many powers MS gives Itachi, I think this would be an interesting fight.

I hope it is not considered trolling if I just say Itachi wins, since this is such a rape. But to be sure, let me say this. Itachi without Mangekyo Sharingan easily wins!!! Itachi doesn`t even need Sharingan. He probably doesn`t need even to use any Jutsu. He doesn`t even need Kunai. But enough of that, whether Itachi needs all this or not, he definitely wins this match!!! :D

I suggest creating a thread in which Shino faces some more normal level Shinobi. Then move on to quite strong level, then strong level, then Subkage level, then Kage level, then strong Kage level, then comes Itachi level (without Izanami).

Don't underestimate Shino. His bugs could probably eat through Amaterasu since they've shown to eat through chakra before. Also, his Bug Globe could trap Itachi and he has no way to escape from it. He has no teleportation jutsu to avoid it, and even if he did the bugs would still track him and follow him.

This is not a rape. I'm actually surprised how people think when it comes to a hype character and a side character, the hype characters always win while downplaying the side character without them even looking at the side character's feats, or thinking about what they are capable of or what they can handle.

There're more bugs than crows dude. And when does he get behind Shino? Even so, the bugs cover his blind spot and eat through Amaterasu. Kunai can be dodged.

He also had feats in part 2 against Tobi, and he actually had two battles in part 1. 1 against Zaku and 1 against Kankuro.

what I hate is that most of the konoha eleven have so little battles

Shino- part 1- zaku, kankuro,
part 2- tobi,
only one battle in shippuden, hell no :(

choji- part 1- zaku, dosu, jirobo
part 1- sai, hidan, kakuzu, pain, kinaku, asuma, tobi,
he has a lot of battles as i think i read somewhere he was kishi's faveroute

sakura- part 1- oto genin, ino, kakashi, zabuza, gaara
part 2- sasori, zetsu, sasuke, tobi
she is meant to be the feminime of the story yet some of these should not even count as fights as she did nothing

hinata- part 1- neji
part 2- pain, zetsu
just her getting pwned in all three

neji- part 1- hinata, naruto, kidomaru
part 2- kisame, himself, zetsu
he does not really do as much in shippuden as he does in part 1, no major battles

kiba- part 1- naruto, udon, sakon
part 2- tobi, pain, zetsu
well yeah he does not even do anythin significant in part 2

rock lee- part 1- sasuke, naruto, oto genin, gaara, kimmimmaru
part 2- himself, kisame, seven swordsman,
the most dissapointing as he has the potenitial to be amazing yet in part 2 he is fodder with nothing but taijutsu, not even shown in gates again

shikimaru- part 1- oto genin, kin, gaara, oto ninja, temari, tayuya
part 2- hidan, kakuzu, pain, zetsu, asuma, tobi, kinaku
clearly a main character

tenten- part 1- temari
part 2- herself, kisame, kakuzu, zetsu
pretty much the only gd thing she has done is gettin the bannana fan

ino- part 1- oto genin, sakura
part 2- hidan, kakuzu, zetsu, pain, kinaku, asuma, tobi
she does more than sakura which is weird

so yeah that pretty much explains that everyone apart from ino, shikamaru and chouji have actually done anything in shippuden

No kidding......since when do Shino's bugs eat fire, let alone something like amaterasu? They would all just get burnt to a crisp from that. Anyways, Itachi could probably take this with taijutsu alone.

It doesn't matter if it's fire. It's still chakra. Chakra is chakra, and that chakra is eaten by Shino's insects. Taijutsu would just get him killed by a Bug Globe.

But seriously, there is no way would Itachi have to resort to Mangekyo Sharingan. Sharingan, unlikely, but perhaps he would use it.

They aren't mini-absorbing-Pain-Paths which absorb all chakra. They're still just bugs. If a katon was fired at them they'd have a bit of trouble absorbing that before becoming vaporized, Amaterasu is actually a lot different if only for its effectiveness at burning them much easier. Itachi wins with fairlu low difficulty.

Itachi wins. Bugs can't eat ammy-it'll burn 'em to a crisp. Also, how does constantly moving protect you from Amaterasu??? The only way I see that working is if you've got super speed like Raikage, Minato, or Naruto.

That's different. Samehada absorbs it. The bugs chew it like cotton candy, since it's still chakra. It won't hurt Shino since Ammy'll fall for an insect clone

OP specifies that his bugs could break him out of genjutsu, so yeah.

It's not that I want Itachi to lose, it's that he does lose, given Shino's feats. If you want to make a Hinata vs Itachi thread then go ahead, I'm just going to stay on topic.

I still don't get how Shino's bugs eat amaterasu. Not that it matters........Itachi speed blitzes and takes him out with taijutsu. Or Itachi makes a clone, laughs at Shino while he fights it, then kills Shino whenever he feels like. Or Itachi uses great fireball jutsu/whatever other katon he feels like and burns all the bugs to a crisp. Or Itachi summons lots of crows to eat the bugs then peck Shino to death. Really, this thread is more about the endless number of ways Itachi could destroy Shino than it is about whether or not Shino could even fight back.
