Really it was in naruto when lee used gates and then it was told that when u release all 8 eight u die.no one has released all 8 the one closer was 7 gates Gai vs Kisame so i am sure that someone will die by using 8 gates.NOW to begin the 3 candidates for that is Gai,Lee and Naruto......If it Gai or lee it would be either to save one another or to save their friends Gai saves Kakashi thanks him for their friendship.Lee saves anyone of his friends blah blah blah.BUT what if naruto dies from using them.There is a theory that sasuke and naruto will fight and both die so i am thinking that this is how naruto dies(sad face).
FACTS:
1) Naruto is indeed quite strong especially now that 9 tails help him but how much further can he go?He has learned Sage Mode,He has made rasenshuriken,he has controlled the 9 tails chakra and now he has his help too.So not much to do now.I believe that naruto now has surpassed sasuke
2) Sasuke strong too but there is still so much.He hasnt got used to EMS still and HE has Susano'o,Amaterasu,Tsukuyomi etc so many techniques to master completely.And i strongly believe that tobi after seeing naruto's power will give rinnegan to sasuke too(Tobi only got 1 of 2 nagato's rinnegan).So in the end i see sasuke reaching ET Madara 's Power, which means he has the potential to be stronger than naruto.
3) What is left????? Naruto has to master the 8 Gates in order to defeat sasuke and protect konoha but sadly he will die too although his uzumaki blood will help him not die immediately


That was my theory i know its too vague but i thought i should write it

Nah.
8 Gates is reserved for Gai especially since he brought out 3 of the 4 Shishin already.

Turtle,Tiger and Bird.

Only one missing is the Dragon which are already often associated with Martials Arts.

Naruto will never learn or use Gates as it'd go against the flow of the Shishin used by Gai as well as the use of day times.

Gai: Ninkame,Morning Peacock,Afternoon Tiger
Naruto: Midnight Dragon

Doesn't work.

Naruto will defeat Sasuke with "That Jutsu" or full control over the kyuubi.

I think Naruto is gonna seal Sasuke if they end up fighting.

Which is why he's going to die with Sasuke, cuz he's gonna use reaper death seal. Well that's one possibility.

It's a jutsu for Gai only and Gai only! I really want to see it but i don't want Gai to die :(

Nobody knows the Reaper Death Seal.

I think its use can be survived, most almost anyone(especially good guys) has survived in the manga in most any battle. Gai will likely use it and some medical aid or help will keep him from dying.

The only person i could see using the eighth gate and surviving is kushina if she could survive kyuubi chakra extraction her body could handle the eighth gate heck any uzumaki bar naruto could since they were a clan of people who had powerful lifeforce and longevity that they could survive anything.

Nobody is going to sacrifice their life for Gai as Chiyo did to Gaara.

The ONLY PERSON who CAN USE the 8th Gate is Gai...

He will die if he uses it, as the effect he has on his body from using the 7th Gate is severe. Kisame put him at his limit. Gai would not live from using the 8th Gate.

Lee had a less than 50 percent chance to LIVE from his surgery. That was 2 limbs.

Just about every bone in your body breaks from the 8th Gate, along with the fact that it ruptures each and EVERY muscle in your body.
