Have been searching everywhere for the answer to this question but come up unlucky every time. Season 6 was just released and I am so excited!!! I refused to switch to sub because I'm so used to the English voices. Switching would be like watching an entirely different show. So it took quite a while for this season to come out and I was wondering when to expect the next. All posts are appreciated.

We get 14 dubbed episodes every 2 or 3 months, thanks to the official DVDs and iTunes.

The English Dub is currently at Episode 126, and we should be receiving Episodes 127-140 sometime in April.

After that, I guess Episodes 141-154 in July?

Aha, I had the same intention as you once, but beleive me it's not worth it.

The subbed version can actually be better at times, also so much mystery, thrill & action you're missing out on being stuck on 126.

Again, try the sub out, it's pretty good.

No thanks, subs suck and dubs rule.

I only watch an anime subbed if there is no dub.

Naruto Shippuden is still being actively dubbed, so I won't ever watch it subbed.

The dubbed versions of any anime suck. The English voices sound so bad and out of place on the characters. I have only tried watching 2 anime dubbed versions and it was Bleach and Naruto.

Never again, Always subbed so much better.

That is your opinion, not fact. If subbed was so much better, people wouldn't even watch dubs.

Then when you said sub sucks and dub rules is also your opinion. Trust me sub is better!!! :D

Why? More episodes out, less censored, sounds the way it is supposed to, better voice acting, plays on words, puns and such, fits better with story and atmosphere.

There is one dub which did justice to the series, more or less, and that`s English DBZ. But even so, I cannot say it is better than sub. Sub is better, only my preference is slightly different!!! :D

The English Dub for Naruto Shippuden is Uncut, Unedited, and Uncensored, if you buy the episodes on iTunes or buy the DVDs.

As for the subs having more episodes out, I don't give a damn, the english dub is worth waiting for.

Have you ever tried subs? In my opinion they really sound better. Try it, and decide which you prefer.

I watch plenty of anime series subbed, just not Naruto Shippuden, since it has an excellent English Dub.

I watch Beelzebub, Digimon Xros Wars, Fairy Tail, and Hunter x Hunter (2011) subbed.

We dont exactly know, if we'll be getting 14 more episodes after 140. In fact, the season that, 141 will come on, will begin a whole new arc. And the amount of episodes we get, usually varies between 11 - 14.

Aha, I had the same intention as you once, but beleive me it's not worth it.

Again, try the sub out, it's pretty good. Thats why you have to have patience....lol The English version, almost follows the same pace, as the Japanese version. As far as, the number of episodes that get released per year, so to speak. But, I DEFFINITELY agree with Toddler, I like the Dubs far better than the subs. And I refuse to watch subbed Narutos.

The dubbed versions of any anime suck. The English voices sound so bad and out of place on the characters. I have only tried watching 2 anime dubbed versions and it was Bleach and Naruto.

Never again, Always subbed so much better. Youd actually be surprised as to, how good many other series are in dubs. I reccomend you be open to other shows. Then, you might change your mind. But, I dont personally see how you didnt like Naruto, in the dub version. I absolutely enjoy it! Infact, to me, its top priority, over all the other series that I watch. lol

That is your opinion, not fact. If subbed was so much better, people wouldn't even watch dubs.

All the Latest dubbed episodes of Shippuden are on those platforms too! XD Infact, I think they are released on the same days, that you can get them from itunes! lol

Have you ever tried subs? In my opinion they really sound better. Try it, and decide which you prefer.
Ive tried subs for myself, and I cant stand it, personally. There are naturally born dub fans and there are naturally born sub fans. And Im all for dubs.

Don't get me wrong, I think the dubbed Voices sound awesome, but I see no point in falling so far behind the story when there is an alternative.

I'll still watch the dub when it comes out.
Sub does have better voice expression a lot of the time though.

I don't care, since I'm already at the end of the Pain arc in the manga.

I can wait for the dub to catch up.

Ive got plenty of patience! Im actually happy where Im at in the series. So, waiting 2 or 3 years to catch up, doesnt even affect me, at all.....lol Which means, I have a lot to look forward to, in my future! lol While theres no telling when you'll see the end...It could be at the end of this year, for all we know, or next year. While Ill have more than 3 years left to enjoy some good Narutos. lol

I originally watched the show when it was coming on TV regularly, but somewhere during the transition into shippuden I fell off. In January, I started from the beginning of the original Naruto series and just finished Shippuden episode 126 last night. Needless to say I was disappointed to find after all these years I still had to wait on the dub to be finished -__-...ah but I digress.

I am going to attempt watching some subs until the dubs come out, but so far watch episode 127 feels almost like a different show. I have grown used to the English voices. I'll try bearing through it if I can.

Oh please guys, enough with the dub-sub controversy!! Seriously, this thread has nothing to do with which version is better or not. Please no arguments, just posts related to the topic!! I'll be forced to report ANYONE who tries to cause an argument irrelevant to the topic!! There is a reason why they created a Dub and Sub thread, so go there instead of bringing it here!

Anyway IMO i agree with Toddler Naruto. I think it takes 3 months for a boxset to be released at a time.

Ex. Boxset 9 came out sometime around the end of January and they confirmed that the next boxset will come out April 10th. Therefore, the next boxset should come out in mid July.

Well obviously thats your choice. But its unforunatte that you wont at least give it a try. I honestly hated the sub at first but I couldnt wait. It was easy to get used to.

I have no idea because I don't keep up with the voice actor/actresses schedules. I do imagine them being very busy dubbing the episodes and they do take breaks; so it takes a while for a new season to be released.

At first I didn't watch sub because I was afraid that sub will ruin the anime for me. Now I watch Naruto both subbed and dubbed because the voice acting are equally good. You should give sub a try if you're impatient for the new episodes to arrive.

Lol someone should make a dub vs sub thread so I can read and be entertained. Whenever my friends and I watch anime and theres a dub option I force to choose it even though they like sub and then I laugh because I don't really care. I'm just too lazy to read the sub hahahaha

The next batch of episodes, might be coming next month. We all just need to exercise more patience. The dubs are so good, that itll all be well worth, all the waiting, in the end. And besides, if you doing anything, similar to what Im doing, then there is hardly any waiting involved. lol You just have to learn how to stretch your episodes and make them last! Try watching a new episode, one day a week! And youll be surprised on how quickly the next volumes, will come! Trust me! Its the best way to go! It most certainly works for me, and I reccomend everyone to do the same!

Close, Ive got 9 left. The reason for that is, it took a week or two for viz to fix that duplicate episode, remember? So, I ended up waiting until they fixed it. Then I began, watching my episodes. Actually, now that I think about it, I think I waited a full week, after they fixed it. lol And plus, Im planning to watch the two Kakashi Chronicles episodes, together. Im gonna treat it as a special viewing or something.

I tried to watch the sub versions too, but couldn't make it past the first episode lol. Guess I am spoiled from watching DB, DBZ and GT in English.. I can't wait for the next dubbed episodes.. I started watching Naruto and got hooked, great show... I am new here and must say it's a fantastic forum..

Actually they were, any off you watch the one piece podcast? Well every year they do a 24 hr podcast called animefansgiveback For the earthquake that happened in Japan, they had a lot of VA on show off them which have dub rolls in naruto. The naruto VA was on 4 30 mins and said they stoped dubbing 4 6 months and only started dubbing again 2 weeks ago so what I say is true.

I watch both subbed and dubbed. I love both of them and enjoy the voice acting in both. I'll watch subbed as to not get behind in the series, but I'll go watch the dubbed ones when they're released as well for funsies. When I'm doing an activity, it's easier to watch dubbed so I can multi-task though :D haha.
