Proposal.

For the sake of Roleplay there has to be order, right? Lets start that order off with giving Pirates BOUNTIES.

We all know how Freeverse goes, we have freedom, we do whatever we want, and there aren't many rules. It isn't very strict in short. No one should have a problem about Bounties and order there.

However, in Roleplay it's a little different. We have to follow the mechanics of the One Piece story. No Pirate chooses their own bounty, and they don't have abnormally large bounties for no reason. In Luffy's case, his Bounty grew because he did some pretty damaging things to the Marines. He broke Robin out of CP9's hold, declared war on the World Government, Broke into AND out of Impel Down, and participated in the War of the Best and Marineford. Of course in a role play, no one should be as strong as the main character from the start, and they shouldn't be able to wreck face against every amount of opposition there is against them. Though we can get to that later.

Back to my original point, Bounties. We have the Pirates role play, converse among other Pirates, and maybe beat up a few Marines. Every crime against the Navy and World Government should increase their bounty. There should be a thread where said Pirate is requires to post what he did, and propose a Bounty dependent on the amount of chaos he/she caused.

How can this be done if there aren't any other Roleplayer Marines to fight at the time? Easy, create a thread and create your own story. Don't post a few words such as "I attacked a few Marines and knocked them unconscious" and submit it to the pre-mentioned thread, you'll be shot. You should have to put in SOME EFFORT in order to get something back. You put in work, you get something in return. Also, everyone wants to be a badass and in Freeverse it's fine, but in Roleplay there is no need for someone destroying Marine Admirals alone and with no crew. Luffy couldn't even stand up to the Admirals pre timeskip, why should your character be able to? I'm not saying you can't build up to that level. This brings me to another thing which most of you aren't gunna like. A grading system. Now now hold your horses! I got the idea from two other successful Role Play sites and the idea is most likely not gunna fly here. I'll get back to that on a later date after feedback...

Freeverse is Freeverse. Shouldn't really be mixed with the Roleplay for scaling problems. To answer your question, yes.

For the grading thing, characters can be created but ehh there's this whole long process templates have to be created and guides and whatnot. I'm too sleepy to do even 1/4th of that right now but I'll make sure something like this goes through and we all have a wonderful RP experience.

This ALL relies on Maik getting access to the internet because he practically owns the RP. I'm sure he wouldn't mind the extra help and the idea.

EDIT: Also about Devil Fruits, yes. I'm actually thinking you should be able to create your own. Still have to go through the grading system to be approved, and you have to conjure up a story about how you achieved them. A problem shows up that people may get Devil Fruits too easily this way, so I'll work with you guys on how we should go about that.

Pirates can fight Pirates and Marines at any stakes, while Marines can fight Pirates all out, while MvM would be a friendly duel. Beating Marines raises your bounty and beating pirates raises your rank. There could also be subsections of WG agents like CP9 or Shichibukai.

I'm just throwing stuff out there.

Well I know I'm not a genius, but I do have my two cents. I was thinking it would work well if we combine the Roleplay and Freeverse aspects into a Mega-Roleplay. The RP'ers could still roam freely, and there would be a plot(Different goals for each individual crew, or character). All of these goals would be intertwined with eachother, no matter what they were.

This was just a few thoughts of mine.

Well you can't really mix a ruled RP with a free Freeverse imo. They would conflict and there would be confusion on what is allowed and what is not.
