I've just finished the 6th book, especially the Movie. For one thing I freaking LOVE it! IMO one of the best 80's Manga/Animes i've ever seen in my entire life, i'd definatly recommned Akira to anyone who hasen't seen it. Plus Masashi Kishimoto loved it as well. `:P

Anyone else whom known about Akira?

Kingsnoke loves Akira. It is one of his favorite movies. He hasn't ever gotten around to reading it though.

You should check the books out, they expand more characters and its VERY deep. Barnes & Noble should be the place. :D
