The battle of legends...

Skyward Sword was amazing, but it didn't offer the challenge that Majora's Mask did.

Skyward Sword had a better story, but Majora's Mask had better gameplay mechanics.

My vote goes to Majora's Mask for the following reasons:

Story
Sidequests
Masks
Uniqueness

I could turn into a Goron, Zora, Deku Scrub, Fierce Diety. There were tons of other masks.

The three day time limit and time travel made everything totally epic.

I disagree.
I felt that with Skyward Sword, the cutscenes and character personalities allowed you to directly connect with them. With Majora's Mask, it was just like meh, I'm going through the game.

Especially at the beginning, with all the romance. Then it segwayed into saving a true friend and not just being a hero.Majora's Mask had more unique items.

I loved the items in Majora's Mask. Just getting all the masks was a challenge in itself. Then you have to know what to do with them.

The Goron actually made travel across Termina Field alot quicker if you didn't have Epona.

Majora's Mask had better sidequests.

We tried... Majora's Mask will still always be my very first Zelda game and always be memorable, despite the several years of frustration it provided.
