Danny Phantom-verse RP?

I was thinking of making a Danny Phantom-based role play, but I need some ideas, but more importantly, I'm wondering if anyone would like to join it.


Ideas so far:


Time:
Pre-D Stabilized or Post-Phantom Planet? (Basically, Vlad is Mayor with Valerie still on his side vs Vlad banished and everyone knows Danny's secret)

May or may not matter if plot takes place somewhere else.

Takes place before D-Stabilized.

Elemental Powers & Weaknesses:
Fire, Electric, Ice -or- Fire, Electric, Ice, Water, Earth, Plant, Wind, Sound? Or more?

If Fire/Electric/Ice, then Strengths are Fire > Ice > Electric > Fire

If the 2nd, then
Water > Fire > Ice > Plant > Earth > Wind > Sound > Electric > Water. Or something.

If you want to add more, then you can list them and new chart for weaknesses, like Darkness, Metal and the like.

Elemental Powers could go like this:
Primary, which gets the most abilities
Secondary, which gets little, weaker abilities, but locked out of full, stronger powers of this element.
OR you can equally balance both out, but both will only get a moderate amount of abilities.
Ex: Danny would be Primary Ice, secondary Sound (Ghostly Wail, him being a special case though), Vlad would be balance with both Wind and Electric (http://dannyphantom.wikia.com/wiki/Vlad_Masters#Powers). (Ghost Stinger, Ghost Twister, more for the sake of the rp though)
NOT REQUIRED though, because you can be strong without an element or two.

-Primary is Fire
--Begin with increasing body heat, but not enough to melt or truly burn like flames, can engulf fists in fire and use a fire punch, later on you can breath flames from your mouth, etc
-Primary is Electric
--Surround body in weak electricity that gives small shock to those who touch (but not too dangerous), can electrify fists, later on you can shoot lighting from your finger tips, etc
-Primary is Ice
--Ghost sense to detect ghosts, can freeze things with the touch of your hand, later on you can shoot ice beams from your eyes, etc.


Then people can make combination attacks combining two elements as long as you have both of them.

Plot:
Yeah um...nothing at the moment :/
It's really just Plot in Amity Park --vs-- Plot in a different town for more originality.

Limits on Characters:
Put a limit on Halfa/Half-Ghost characters because
1) They're not common, only 2 are seen, Danny and Vlad (4 if you count Dani and Dark Danny, who was technically a full ghost because he was formed from 2 Halfas and killed his human self)

2) To encourage Human and Full-Ghost characters as the rp isn't overrun with Halfas with no ghostly enemies or human enemies (Guys in White, anyone?). You can be a human Ghost hunter, like the Fentons or Valerie to get around it.

Or no limits.

interesting pre would allow a better final fight for Danny and I guess the limit on half-ghosts wouldn't be fun for some people also add a support character that can help (like Sam or Tucker)

Well thing is, if we put the plot somewhere else then it doesn't matter because it all happened in Amity Park.

Likewise, if it does take place in AP, then either people will try to get too close to canon characters (like, be Vlad's bodyguards or Danny/Sam/Tucker's sudden friend or something..) and it would seem awkward that there's so many Halfas running around all of a sudden. Mostly the latter though. Another problem would be controlling the canon characters, since most will want to for their own uses and there's the possibility of their characters being poorly played simply to suit the rper's needs.

if it's after people would know about half-ghosts exist but pre they would not. I guess a new location would be good with canon characters appearing sometimes.

I was thinking it could take place in both, with a limit of how many in Amity Park (Like, with them being there now because they didn't know what to do with their new powers or they recently move into the city), and both OCs and Canon characters can visit each others' towns.

We would need more people though for this to work, like how the other RP only had 3 people. -3-

Bio: She grew up in the neighboring town of Berrywood, a place that hardly sees any ghosts. Her mother had no idea what happened to him but Romy always assumed that he simply abandoned them. Growing up, Romy always felt a little different than the other kids. She could alter her body somewhat, she could fly, and turn invisible. She knew that normal people weren't supposed to be able to do this, and so she always felt like a freak, though it didn't help that others a little weirdly as well. When she was 11, her mother finally told her the truth about her father when she started to figure out her daughter's situation: He was actually a Ghost named Metamorphis, and upon learning this, Romy began to understand why she was so different, and she told her mother about her powers. In school, she went on to study ghosts and technology and landed a job with small lab. Her mother had gotten fired from her job so the now 23 year old Romy allowed her to live with her. One day, she was promoted but had to move to Amity Park when she as transferred to Axion Labs. She currently lives there with her mother.

Appearance: She has a light grey skin with light blue eyes. Simple, short brown flaming hair that goes to her chin somewhat, the style is different than her human form. Her outfit consists of a black collar with a black hood, attached to a royal blue vest, non-tight black shorts that go just above the knees, royal blue stockings, black boots with a lightly dark orange trim, a slightly dark orange longsleeve undershirt, and black gloves with a large royal blue trim, that have the index and pinky fingers uncovered. She also wears a black belt with slightly dark orange pouches on them for any weapons or items she needs. She doesn't show skin to avoid her DNA being taken. The rings that form around her when she tranforms into her ghost form are brown.

Wait on the father for now, wait until after he appears in the roleplay that would make him mysterious and because he would be a lot more powerfull than the player characters at his point in the roleplay

Oh, the father would end up being a regular character. Plus he's not a bad guy. I still have to work on his looks, names, and bio. Any existing DP character are the villains for now.


That, and we still have some problems. There's only 4 people who are willing to participate (And how willingly active everyone is for it is a major factor), still lacking some basic powers for the elements, and maybe an overall plot. If everyone is active for a while then maybe others will join and it won't die all of a sudden.

So they decided to give me my powers. If you can't beat them than be them, or in this case if you can't beat them, make them you. But you get the picture.

You can also request to rp as a character not already taken, but you've got to make them stay in character/act like they would in the show.
