So is Anko dead?

I know she was captured by Kabuto,
and he's probably doing experiments on her..
but it doesnt show her dying??
any ideas or thoughts?

I mean, she was the basically raised by Orochimaru. So, Kabuto needs her for some reason we're unaware of I guess.

I don't think so and here is why:

1. Kabuto needs her for something...to revive orochimaru or get more of orochimaru's powers or something, I can't remember, but with all the sacrifice stuff they do, I think that means he needs her alive

2.When kishi kills off characters that are more important than just noobs we don't know, he usually makes it a big deal (thus i also believe yamato is still alive)

ya i was worried about Yamato also,
I'm hoping they just lose chakara, and nothing more! but knowing Kabuto/Orochimaro
They always use Dead things, or turn things evil!
And i'm hoping that doesnt happen to the two! :S

And last I knew he was studying the first's DNA in Yamato to make Zetsu stronger or something else so I think he is still alive.

Anko is one of the first people Orochimaru gave the Curse Mark to. As a result, Kabuto can extract parts of Orochimaru's chakra from her in order to strengthen his own powers, which are based on the DNA that he implanted into himself from Orochimaru's corpse. By doing so Kabuto could increase his control over those he revived by Edo Tensei. Anko isn't dead.

Since both Yamato and Anko are live captives of Kabuto, my expectation is that one of Itachi's priorities when he goes to confront Kabuto will be to free the two.

I think Kabuto already used her for what he was gonna use her for.

But he might keep her alive just in case
