So I'm going to post a couple poems I wrote today. Once of them was a homework assignment for my English class and the other was just something I wrote because it was what I was feeling at the time. If you want to know why I wrote them, just ask.
Why?

People:
People are demons;
Their words acid,
Their deeds dirty
And we take them in
Like a drug we cannot live without
People are monsters;
Their hearts impure,
Their souls black
And their arrogance
Allows them to act
as if they were perfect
The malice is in all of us
Though we may not show it
We've all thought guilty thoughts
Done dirty things
We are demons;
Our words acid,
Our deeds dirty
And they let us in
Like a drug they cannot live without
We are monsters;
Our hearts impure,
Our souls black
And our arrogance
Allows us to act as if we were perfect
Silence is a Weapon:
Silence is a weapon;
It haunts, it hurts, it kills
Silence is drug;
It destroys, it breaks us
It creates out worst fears
Silence allows us to retreat
To escape into the confides of our mind
And as our mind wonders
That which we fear becomes reality
And reality becomes a weapon
It hurts, it haunts, it kills
Reality becomes a drug;
It destroys, it breaks us
Into silvers of our former selves
And we become a shell;
Empty and hollow
A ghost of who we once were
Until the hands of death embrace us
Silence is a weapon
It haunts, it hurts, it kills
