The Kyuubi said himself that it was MADARA who controlled him, not Tobi. I'm pretty sure the Kyuubi would know who was controlling him.

This can only mean that it wasn't Tobi at the attack on Konoha 16 years ago.

Unless Tobi and Madara existed at that point, in which Tobi would have fought Minato, and Madara would have controlled the Kyuubi.

If Tobi is 'Nobody' then this would mean that it's possible for the two to co-exist at the same time. Madara can't be Tobi, and they must have been in Konoha TOGETHER 16 years ago.

The kyubi was referring to when madara attacked konoha during the first hokage's reign (chapter 399 page 12). You should probably reread all of chapter 399 since you seem a little confused. The kyubi was not referring to the incident 16 years ago.

Yep. This is true because Tobi would have drawn the Kyuubi out if he really was Madara during Naruto's fight.

1. if what you say is true, that'd mean madara has the intangibility and warping jutsu Tobi has been displaying all this long. Yet, Madara allows himself to be smashed by a meteor he summoned himself and relies on susanoo against Raikage attacks... Do you see any evidence of madara possessing any of those Jutsu?

2. If Madara summoned Kuubi and Tobi fought Minato that would be simply impossible considering that Minato used a seal on Tobi to rip him off his control of Kuubi. How would that have worked if someone else (madara) was the original summoner?

you see, neither of the theories add up but I'd say it's quite interesting and new... outta the box thinking which i personally like.

Well I can honestly say that I know so much about Madara sensei because he personally taught me when I was younger, in Konoha, where I lived, until I feigned my own death then went under an alias known as Tobi. But of course I am not Madara sensei. Because Kabuto san already revived him against my wishes :/

IMO, only Madara(and the SO6P) is powerful enough to actually summon Kyuubi through a simple Kuchiyose justsu.

However, Tobi did not summon the Kyuubi on Minato 16 years ago.

Tobi somehow found out the Jinchuriki's (in our case, Kushina) weakness and used that opportunity to store the Kyuubi in his pocket dimension, then later on released it inside Konoha. He didn't actually use Summoning jutsu and summon the nine tails right away like Madara did.

Kuchiyose for Kyuubi probably requires a lot of Chakra,but sucking it into pocket dimension probably ain't that easy also.

Not positive, but I don't think pocket dimension travel can be "released" it's a transport. Each way. And you are transporting one hell of a load.
