Action and Adventure are the same genre, hence why they list it as Action/Adventure.

I always considered Action to be more filled with fighting. Whereas Adventure is more like wide world travel, or just a huge world.

Taking from a literal standpoint I would agree with you, but when sectioning movies and the such into genres, I'm pretty sure that's how it is; Action/Adventure.

And you liked A World God Only Knows that much? I found it a little lacking in plot and character development.

Oh, and if you liked Shuffle! a lot, you should watch Clannad. I'm a huge fan of Shuffle!, and I would still rank Clannad above Shuffle!. Clannad was much deeper/emotional. Not to sound like a pansy, but Clannad was the first and only movie, TV show or anything along those lines to make me cry.

adventure is about the traveling on a journey and action is more about fighting

More than often in fighting/action anime, the fights are encountered while on a journey of some sort.

Depends how you want to do it. I know a streaming anime site that lists them separately. I would put 11eyes as an Action but not an Adventure for instance. I'm not sure about any Adventure without action though.

I really enjoyed the characters even if they weren't developed as much as some other manga. I've really enjoyed the current plot in the manga as well. I think me liking a long-running story more helps as well.

Thanks, I think I'll give it a watch sometime. Shuffle! was great though, I thought the way each of the characters got backstory was really well done. I just enjoyed it a lot, it left basically no loose ends.

It most certainly is an adventure manga.

In Naruto the traveling is not an important part of the plot like it is in true adventures mangas like One Piece and or the first half of Dragon Ball

True, but they still do go on journeys. Obviously, One Piece's world moves a lot more. But, I would consider it adventure enough to be considered adventure.

I guess that is true but it's not a true adventure manga and many adventure mangas have action but the main thing here is to name more great mangas that people might want to read
