I'd say Minato. I think the 3rd Hokage said he was the strongest the village had ever seen and he died early so imagine how powerful he could of become. And as for the rest of the Kage i don't know but Minato is my fave out of them all and in my opinion the strongest `:P

Minato pretty much takes this. Clearly so fast he could use his seals and completely take out the majority of the characters now. The only reason Madara lived to fight another day was due to Minato focusing his interest on the kyuubi.

Granted Tobi is a moron, Gaara is obviously a good match up for Minato.

Also the feats given were transports, not actual foot speed.

By Madara you mean the guy with the two headed Susano, Meteor pulling Rinnegan, mastered fire style, insane speed and all of the MS abilties? Nah, Minato doesn't have much of a chance.

Honestly, it would be hard to state who actually is the strongest kage. Each kage brought something different to the battle field and they different kages existed in different times.

But I'm going with Minato on this. He had everything. He had speed, intelligence and leadership qualities. Honestly, best Hokage ever.

Do you read manga? If not then they already showed the former kages. Not mist yet don't know really (don't remember)

Actual strongest would be Raikage or Tsunade, but the most powerful I guess would be the first Hokage, Hashirama Senju, mainly because he was able to beat Madara and control all the tailed beasts at one point.

One argument against 1st and 2nd is that...supposedly each generation surpasses the previous.

But lets just say thats on average. Still, without seeing actual accomplishments, I can't give the top spot to Hashirama.

I think this comes down to the 3rd, the "god of all shinobe" who knew more jutsu than anyone ever, who could counter top level genjutsu and could take on ET 1st and 2nd at the same time...

Minato. Likely smarter on the field, faster, advantage with seals.


Three things kill in this world.
1. speed
2. chakra pool (a large one to spam your biggest jutsus)
3. field smarts.

Minato definitely has 1 and 3 vs.. maybe 3. for the 3rd.

I would think the most powerful would be Minato, mainly because of his speed, which is even faster than the Raikage's, and his knowledge of fuinjutsu that he gained from Kushina, a memeber of the powerful Uzumaki clan, whose knowledge of fuinjutsu was so great the clan was often feared by others. But if we were referring to somebody physically powerful, I'd say Tsunade, I mean, she was born with that raw strength, and by concentrating chakra into her fists, I don't think anybody can be as strong as her.
