Chapter Thirty-Nine: Weapon of Mass Destruction #45: Chains of Flaming Hell


Note: I have recently been on vacation, now in Seattle, whereas I live in Indiana, so I won't be on much this week, but I'll make an attempt to be online as much as possible.


As the black flames quickly spread around the astonished Sakura, melting the ice floor as it moved, as water gave in. Matsumora grinned as the flames surrounded Sakura and vexed into her.
"Let's see if you can survive this kind of damage." Matsumora said.

Fire!
Senso thought as he stood on the ice ground, watching the black flames that crackled brightly in the midst, where Sakura and her opponent was.

If those flames could be seen this large in the distance, then they must be enormous in personal view, Senso observed. He then turned his head to see Kaname charging right at him. Senso sidestepped as Kaname smashed his foot into the ice, where bits of shards lay, now covered with Kaname's blood. Kaname responded with a glare of pain and struck his fist at Senso's head, who barely blocked it with a kunai in his left hand.
"Damn you..." Kaname growled. Senso said nothing as the two figures were locked in that moment, which broke as Senso's kunai finally gave in, shattering into pieces of metal as Kaname's fist landed on Senso's stomach.
"You shouldn't be worrying about your comrades," Kaname stated with a snarl on his wolf-face, "when you're about to die."

"That lunatic.....she released her Weapon of Mass Destruction." Allon murmured to himself. He stood on the ice with a neutral expression on his face, as ice-cold water flowed around his shoes.
"She's going to get killed."
Allon then sighed after a moment of consideration, and started to walk in the direction of where the black flames were.
"Guess I have to knock some sense into her..."
At that moment, there came a whistling sound behind Allon. Allon turned to see a huge flying arc entirely made out of pure light. He ducked as the light arc passed over the area where his chest had occupied just a nanosecond ago, and glanced at his attacker.
"I'm surprised you could still move." he commented at the injured Nui, who stood thirty meters north of him, resting his arm on his katana, which was smashed into the ice, and using it as an aid to standing up.
Nui smiled grimly as blood dripped from his mouth.
"And where do you think you're going?"
Clearly, blood on his mouth, a broken nose, two slashes from a kunai on his legs, a broken arm, and a black eye wasn't enough to stop Nui Onimusha.

"Let's go, Nami," Kato said, "We don't have any time to waste, especially for Nui's, Sakura's, and Senso's sakes."
"I'm coming." Nami replied as she walked out form the shadows. Now wearing a cloak designed for protection against cold weather, Nami was suited for her mission with Kato. A receiver stood next to them, gazing down at the floor, as he awaited orders. Kato glanced at the receiver.

"Send the Interrogative Ninja Igino to the prisoner and get the Shinobi Tenso Ukitaro, those are your orders." Kato stated as thew receiver looked up at him in shock.
"Not to question your orders, sir, but are you sure about letting Tenso Ukitaro out? The last time we released him out into the world, he slaughtered fifty-nine shinobi, and in record time, two minutes approximately." The receiver said with a look of terror in his eyes. Kato offered a small nod. "I'm sure."
The receiver gulped and after a moment of silence, left to fulfill his orders. However, before he left, Kato issued something else.

As the receiver left, Kato looked at Nami with a serious expression on his grim face.
"Let's go, we don't have any time to waste."

Chapter Forty: Part One: Black Flames of Death


Sakura stepped back as a wave of fire passed on the ground where she had just stood, barely scorching her shoes. She then glanced up at Matsumora, who continued to grin, flexing her arm which gripped the chain which brightly burned in black flames. Matsumora then swung the chain up and then brought it down on the ground, as a huge wave of black fire appeared, moving steadily on the melted ice. The fire was as big as a house, covering fifteen meters in length and six meters wide as it spread, getting larger and larger by the second.
You gotta be faster than that to catch me, Sakura noted in her thought as she reached in her tools' holster. She brought out a small ball and tossed it into the air.
Besides, you have many weaknesses in your strategy.
The small ball erupted into bright light, illuminating everything as the black flames passed it.

And the flash of light passed, dimming down as Masumora stood where she was, gazing at the spot where Sakura was. Matsumora then glanced behind her, and saw Sakura, who wore a grim expression. She tried to move, but couldn't, finally realizing that Sakura had performed a paralysis jutsu on her.

"Sorry, I didn't want to do this," Sakura muttered as she brought down one of her special kunais to Matsumora's heart, who stood paralyzed, attempting to move, even if just an inch.
"But I can't afford to be merciful, not here."

And with that, Sakura beheaded the Shinobi who worked under Hisagi Onimsuha, Matsumora Anokichi.

Zara stood up from his kneeling position, ready to fulfill his tasks as his master, Hisagi, gazed at him. Just as he was about to exit the room, he stopped as he sensed something. Zara widened his eyes, and spun around to face Hisagi.
"My Lord, Matsumora--"
Hisagi nodded as he slowly smiled.
"I know, Zara. Apparently, she was killed by Light Clan Shinobi Sakura Helga.....it seems.....that there's more to my ex-student than it meets the eyes..."
He then glanced to his left, where a table was, in reach. The table, too, was sculpted out of ice, as it shone. There was nothing on the table except for a chessboard, where chess pieces lay. Hisagi then gently gripped a black piece, one of his own.
He slowly lifted it, and looked under it, where the name "Matsumora Anokichi" was etched into. With dismissive eyes, he threw it behind him, as the chess piece crashed into the floor, breaking into pieces.

"You have outgrown your usefulness, Matsumora Anokichi." Lord Hisagi said, and glanced down at the black chess piece with the name "Allon Tosen". He then glanced at piece right next to it, the white knight, with the name "Nui Onimusha".

"Let's see if you can survive this, my son."

Chapter Forty: Part Two: Arrival


Sakura gazed quietly at the corpse of Matsumora. What used to be a human, who had friends, enemies, and goals was now just an empty shell in a pool of dark-red blood.
She then glanced at the steel chain that Matsumora had wielded just before her premised death. Somehow she controlled fire as well as create it with this..., Sakura thought, and reached down at it.

I'll probably need this in the future..

Kaname stood, paralyzed in terror as he realized what had happened. Senso was before him, buried in a pile of snow, bleeding from wounds, as well as semi-unconscious.
"No way.." he muttered and then suddenly let out a howl of anger. Furiously, Kaname spun at Senso with fire in his eyes. He charged right out at Senso, his eyes burning in anger and his fist ready for the kill.

Just as he was bare centimeters within range of Senso's head, just as Kaname was about to launch his fist, a guaranteed kill, one person, who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere, came out to stop the rampaging Kaname.

"Looks like I made it in time," Kato said as he glanced at Kaname, who's hand was trapped in a small sphere made out of light, "anyways, who the hell are you?"

Chapter Forty-One: Taking a Weapon of Mass Destruction


"So.....are you going to answer me?" Kato murmured, smiling as he stood, steadily blocking Kaname's free hand with a pitch black large shield that he held in his left hand.
"I ask you again: who the hell are you?"

As Sakura reached down to grab the chains, she collapsed. Sakura hit the cold ice, right next to Matsumora's corpse, as freezing water flowed around her in a stream-like pattern. She then felt a hot sensation struck her body, and immediately puked up blood. The blood dripped form her lips, falling into the water and mixing along with it.

Damn...I overused it...I'm only supposed to use the White Flash of Death Jutsu seven times per day, but I used it thirteen times already.., Sakura thought, continuing to puke up red blood in the midst of it.
As her vision began to blur, Sakura, with all her strength she could muster, reached toward Matsumora's fire chains with her hand.
Just a little away....
And she grasped it, barely. With a triumphant smile on her face, she gripped it as her vision became even further blurring, and she was now barely able to see her hand. Suddenly, she felt an odd sensation: she had never felt it before, but it sent chills up her spine. Sakura knew, it was clearly not a good sensation. Suddenly, the fire chains started to brighten. It continued to become brighter and brighter, as Sakura tried to coil her hand away from it, to no avail. The chains suddenly snapped to life, black flames appearing, lashing around. The fire pressed against Sakura's skin, burning her as it continued to spread throughout her body.
Sakura let out a cry of pain as the black flames continued to consume her. Others, in a safe distance, stopped their battles to look at the large black flames in alarm as they watched with horror as it slowly burned the screaming shinobi to death.

And the screaming stopped altogether, as the black fire suddenly vanished, not even leaving a trace of its existence. And Sakura Helga, it's victim, was vacant, too gone without a trace left.

"What the..." Kato murmured in astonishment.He then heard a whistling sound behind him and turned to see Kaname charging madly at him, swinging his fists rapidly, just five meters away.
With a maddened expression on his face, Kato lashed at Kaname, his shield ready for battle.

"What the hell have you done with Sakura?!!"

"Ugh...What was that?" Nui muttered, crouching on one knee, in pain. To add the extent of his injuries, he had a broken leg as well as had three strikes at the heart which lead him to puking up blood every few minutes.
"Why worry about your comrade?"
Nui glanced behind, to see Allon standing casually with a bored expression. Despite Nui's best efforts, Allon wasn't in the least wounded. Allon didn't even seemed tired, not even sweating. Suddenly, Allon broke into a mad dash. Before Nui had even time to defend himself, Allon had crossed the twenty yards between them in nine seconds. He now stood before Nui, holding a short slim dagger in his hands.
"I'll put you out of your misery." Allon said disturbingly and brought the blade down on Nui, aimed for the kill.

And something whisked out of nowhere, blocking the dagger, as Nui looked up in surprise, as Allon widened his eyes.

"No one hurts Nui-kun!" Nami yelled angrily.

I see a light...

The light...it's getting darker..

What's happening..

Sakura thought.
She was now in a whole different dimension, one void of any life. She floated softly, and pitch black darkness was the only thing that surrounded her. The only source of light was that red glow in the distance, before her. It glowed radiantly, yet gave off an uncomfortable feeling.

I gotta move...

And quickly too...

She moved, as fast as possible. Each second in reality seemed to be an hour to her, torturing her as the sounds of laughter was occasionally heard as she passed, mocking and insulting her to no end.
Uncontrollable thirst and hunger quickly came, scratching at her with a scream for water and food. Sakura tried her best to ignore it, yet it continued to hang over her like a a scythe, haunting her every move.
Her vision remained blurry, and she was still injured, as her own blood dripped as she floated.
Finally, she gave in. Sakura collapsed, head first, to the amusement of the invisible crowd whose laughter rang everywhere. Her hunger and thirst too gave in, and she was suddenly tempted to drink her own blood as well as eat her own flesh in an attempt to drive those two tortures away.
Then, she heard a voice.

"Would you like some help?"

Who...are you?

"Me? Oh, I'm nobody important, just the original owner of that weapon you're holding. I'm the King of Hell."

Bio: Introduced wearing a mask, he later removed it during the invasion after being separated from his group, left with an asleep Menrui Tatski. Managing to get to the Kage House while fending after relentless attacks of enemy ninjas, he then set to completely defeating over seventy trained Shinobi with one single attack. After so, he and Team Okami set back to the Crossroads, where he fought Tenso Ukitaro and admitted a loss, only to be rescued by Menrui Tatski and Co. He was then knocked out cold by the vampire Miranda Vi Thunderhead and then saved by Rose Raiku.

Nui Onimusha:
Gender: Male
Status: Active.
First Appearance: Invasion of the Bird Clan Arc.
Height: 5'10'
Weight: 141 lbs.
Age: 13[Nui Gaiden Arc] ; 25[Currently]
Occupation: Leader of Team Okami/Haikumi
Bio: First shown under the cover of night, Nui Onimusha leads Team Okami. First battling Jashin Worshiper Kama Ikkaku, he defeated him and then promptly set to the AiraKage, Takuni Yomashi, and soon defeated him as well, sealing him inside the notorious Yata Orb. Nui is an Ex-Kage, his father is Hisagi Onimusha, and he also stores the 14-Tailed Sabertooth in his body. After defeating the AiraKage, he returned back to the Crossroads with his team.

Menrui Tatski:
Gender: Male
Status: Active.
First Appearance: Invasion of the Bird Clan Arc.
Height: 5'9'
Weight: 143 lbs.
Age: 20
Occupation: Team Okami member
Bio: Shown as a lazy, good-for-nothing, member of Team Okami, Menrui had fallen asleep in the remainder of the first few skirmishes in the invasion. Having a rapid case of narcolepsy, he has fallen asleep several times. Menrui also shares a relationship with Toshi Kurosaki, who often beats the crap out of him. Travelling back to the Crossroads, he fought Tenso Ukitaro to save Vatas, managing to even block a five-kilometer destroying technique. After so, he woke up a knocked cold Vatas.

Toshi Kurosaki:
Gender: Female
Status: Active.
First Appearance: Invasion of the Bird Clan Arc.
Height: 5'1'
Weight: 123 lbs.

Occupation: Team Okami member
Bio: First shown as a reckless member of Team Okami, Toshi Kurosaki is the youngest member and shares a rather strained relationship with Menrui Tatski, who she would often end up beating up. In the invasion, she promptly defeated the Cager, chopping off his arm as well. Toshi has a rather friendly relationship with Hanataro Crane, even hugging him as a farewell. Returning to the Crossroads, she was heavily injured by Tenso Ukitaro and then moved to a hospital to rest for now.

Bio: Father of Nui Onimusha, as well as an Ex-Kage of the Light Clan. A very powerful Shinobi, he had betrayed his Clan, leaving them after slaughtering almost every member of the Royal Onimusha Family, as well as several high-level Jonin. In Nui Gaiden, he is introduced in the Icy Wastelands with several subordinates, attempting to gain an unknown goal. As of now in the present, he is yet to make an appearance.

Matsumora Anokichi:
Gender: Female
Status: Deceased.
First Appearance: Nui Gaiden Arc
Height: 5'9'
Weight: 126 lbs.
Age: 23
Occupation: Subordinate of Hisagi Onimusha
Bio: A subordinate of Hisagi Onimusha. She hails from a bloodthirsty Clan who specializes in warfare. Matsumora is very cruel as well as bloodthirsty, using crude methods in her missions. She wields the 45th Weapon of Mass Destruction(W.O.M.D.), the Flaming Chains of Hell. She had been killed by Sakura Helga.

Kaname (No Surname):
Gender: Male
Status: Deceased.
First Appearance: Nui Gaiden Arc
Height: 6'8'
Weight: 172 lbs.
Age: 38
Occupation: Subordinate of Hisagi Onimusha
Bio: A subordinate of Hisagi Onimusha, he is older than both his two teammates, Matsumora and Allon. Despite his beastly-like appearance and large size, he is actually not ruthless, nor bloodlusted usually. He also has shown care as well as some degree of attachment for his teammates. Killed Kato, only to be killed himself in turn by Senso Ukitaro.

Zara Kuroda:
Gender: Male
Status: Unknown.
First Appearance: Nui Gaiden Arc
Height: 5'7
Weight: 130 lbs.
Age: Unknown
Occupation: Subordinate of Hisagi Onimusha
Bio: A young man who serves Hisagi Onimusha with utmost respect. He is usually calm, even in the most thickest of situations and will act ruthless if necessary. His combat style involves floating blades; he had defeated Tenso Ukitaro in Nui Gaiden. As of now, he is to reappear.

Allon Tousen:
Gender: Male
Status: Active

He has a calm demeanor, although he does have a rocky, if not conflicting, relationship with Matsumora. In the Meeting of the Kages Arc, he is a subordinate of Sakura Helga.

Bio: First introduced as an antagonist who had somehow rescued both Kama Ikkaku and the Cager, her past was further revealed during the Nui Gaiden Arc, which unveiled her as a Light Clan Shinobi, as well as friends of Senso Ukitaro and Nui Onimusha, and also Kato's future fiancee. She had had met Leon Kuromakai, the King of Hell, and is now scheming an unknown plot.

Kama Ikkaku:

First Appearance: Invasion of the Bird Clan Arc

Bio: First introduced as a bought guard for the Bird Clan, Kama Ikkaku hails from the Jashin Clan, a bloody clan who worships the god Jashin. After fighting Nui Onimusha and gaining a defeat, he was rescued by some unnamed ninja and then brought to Sakura Helga, who offered a position for him.

The Cager:

First Appearance: Invasion of the Bird Clan Arc

Occupation: Subordinate of Sakura Helga
Bio: Introduced as a Hunter Shinobi who would hunt down Rogue Shinobi of the Bird Clan, caging them as well, the Cager has no true name. After admitting a complete loss to Genin Toshi Kurosaki as well as losing his arm in the skirmish, he was rescued by Sakura Helga. He is currently healing while wearing a Hello Kitty robe.

Flare Pirates.
Shikiteru D. Garp:
Gender: Male
Status: Active.
First Appearance: Meeting of the Kages Arc

Bio: First shown in the large Triangular Island gambling at an Auctioning House, he was then brought to gunpoint by Patty Bianchi Nero, a rookie pirate Captain. After blowing up the Auctioning House effortlessly with his Heki-Heki no Mi(Flare-Flare Devil Fruit), he set prompt to blowing up Patty himself, resulting in using Patty as a bomb which destroyed half or so of the Triangular Island. Shikiteru has a close friend-relationship with his First Division Commander, Robin, and has some sort of part with Menrui Tatski. Recently, his bounty has increased to ninety-nine million Beli.

Robin G. Newgate:
Gender: Female
Status: Active.
First Appearance: Meeting of the Kages Arc
Height: 5'8'[Current]
Weight: 134 lbs.
Age: 25
Occupation: First Division Commander of the Flare Pirates
Bio: First introduced on the large Triangular Island, she is a close friend of her Captain, Shikiteru D. Garp, and refers to him as Shiki, although she is vary of his actions. Her favorite color is purple; Robin has been shown to wield a Zanpuktou, likely an Ice-Type one.

Patty Pirates
Patty Bianchi Nero:

First Appearance: Meeting of the Kages Arc

Bio: A rookie pirate with a measly bounty of sixteen thousand million Beli, one of his hobbies is gambling. Unfortunately, he was first introduced threatening Shikiteru D. Garp, which resulted in him and his crew getting blown up nigh-high, along with half of an island. However, he somehow survived, next seen about fifty miles away on a Marine ship, where he battles Marine Officers Yosuke Hirabank and Waro and soon defeats them.

Leon Kuromakai:

First Appearance: Nui Gaiden Arc

Bio: Shown in the Nui Gaiden Arc, he met Sakura Helga and spoke to her in his realm of hell. After revealing that he was the original user of the Flaming Chains of Hell Weapon of Mass Destruction, he dismissed her, to only later appear and "inserted" an unknown object which changed her for the worse. He is accomplices with Zetsumei Karakushi.

Zetsumei Karakushi:
Gender: Male
Status: Unknown.
First Appearance: Nui Gaiden Arc
Height: 6'2'
Weight: 163 lbs.
Age: ?
Occupation: Accomplice of Leon Kuromakai
Bio: Introduced briefly in the Nui Gaiden Arc, he is a man with a heavy Russian accent. He is noted to be accomplices or a partners with Leon Kuromakai and seemingly has powers over time manipulation. As of now, not much is yet to be discovered about him.

Rose Raiku:
Gender: Female
Status: Active
First Appearance: Meeting of the Kages Arc
Height: 5'6'
Weight: 134 lbs.
Age: 17
Occupation: ?

Chapter Forty-Two: Meeting in Hell


The King of Hell....?


Sakura was now in that red light that she had seen, and now was starting to regret her decision to advance toward it. She was now surrounded in a hellish blood-red light. It was radiant, shining brilliant as it swirled around. There was no floor, walls, or even a ceiling at all.
She looked below, and suddenly regretted even thinking of looking down, for what she saw down there was a horror on a completely different scale, so frightening that even the author couldn't even began to describe it.

So... this is hell...

Sakura thought as hundreds of thoughts bounced inside her mind. Her thirst and hunger was now gone, and h
er injures had suddenly been healed as well, as the blood dried.
She then noticed something at the middle of the room and turned her gaze at it. Placed in the middle of the room was a large lone throne. It looked enormous enough to bare over ten grown men on it; the throne was made up of skulls stained with blood, and swords were stabbed into it as it released an evil aura.
One lone figure sat on the throne, releasing that uncomfortable feeling as well. He was a slim and tall figure, sitting comfortable at the center of the throne with a bored yet playful smile. He wore a long black robe, the end ripped as blood was stained on it. The robe was pitch black, sporting armor from different time periods.
The man's face was dark and strong, as one lone scar ran down horizontally between his white cold eyes. There were more than thirteen scrolls on him, strapped to his back, on his armor, on his belt, etc.

"Nice to meet you, Sakura Helga. I am the King of Hell, but you can refer to me as Leon Kurimakai."

Kato snarled in frustration as Kaname smashed through Kato's shield. The shield clattered to the floor, now in pieces with each a huge dent in them, from the force of the punch. Kato jumped back as Kaname stopped his attack and glanced up.

Dammit.....he's getting stronger! Kato thought as he reached in his tools holster to pull out a dagger. He gripped it in both hands and barely lashed it at Kaname as Kaname charged at him once again.
"You think that I am getting stronger, but in truth, it is you who is getting weaker!"

As the two figures stood, locked in battle, Kato's dagger dug deep into Kaname's right hand guard as blood slowly dripped form it, the blade barely penetrating the fur underneath it. Kaname then growled with a beastly smile as he lifted his free hand. "Now....go to the afterlife!" Kaname yelled and rushed his fist down at Kato's hand.

And that fist was stopped by Senso, who had woken up from his coma, now blocking the fist with his two arms, steadily shaking from the force.

"Nui, go ahead," Nami muttered, as she glanced at Allon in anger, "I'll take care of him."
Allon glanced back at her as he slowly set into a stance. "Reinforcements, eh.." he said.
Nui stood motionless, thinking what choice he should make. Allon, however, took advantage of that. He charged at Nui with a kunai, but was soon stopped by Nami with a flick of her hand when he was ten yards from her. Allon was sent flying.
"Nui, go already!" Nami shouted as she defended herself, and Nui nodded and poofed away, leaving only a cloud of white smoke.

However, in that white smoke, two large armored hands could be seen, normally invisible, but under the conditions of this smoke, it could be seen, as it hung around Nami.

Chapter Forty-Three: The Interview in Hell


But....you're supposed to be a myth.....a legend passed down from generation to generation...you can't be real.

Leon smiled. Sitting on the large throne, he looked at the floating Sakura with a bored grin, as if he was looking at a child who had just spilled out some dumb saying. Finally, he replied in a casual matter.
"And yet I am here. Why is that?"

.........is this a dream?

Leon shook his head grimly, glancing behind at something that was beyond Sakura's view. "No, my dear. This is..........reality."

Nui dashed speedily, his feet stepping softly in the ice as he paced steadily toward his target. Ahead of him by over a hundred and thirty meters was an ice cave. The ice cave was visible, and seemed normal size from the distance where Nui was. It seemed the ideal place for criminals, or to more precise, his father, to hide himself in.

If it could be seen that size from here, then it must be quite large in close-view, Nui thought as he ran. He was worried about the sake of Nami, hoping that she was currently well. His opponent, Allon was very strong, and had dealt him many injuries. After Nami had suddenly arrived out of nowhere, Allon had retreated, allowing Nami the time to give Nui a medical kit, as well as treat some of his wounds.
He had already used the medical kit, and even so, he was still fatigued from the battle, slowly getting weaker and weaker as he advanced.

Then, Nui heard a "wooshing"sound. It came fast, as all of a sudden, a single figure appeared, standing gracefully on one foot over the crackled ice. The figure had appeared when Nui was within ninety meters of the ice cave far off in the distance. It was Zara, Hisagi's Assassin, but that was unknown to Nui.

He's wearing the same robe those earlier guys were wearing! Nui realized as he slowly took a step back.
Does that mean that he's with them?

Zara took a step forward and flicked his hand as a katana suddenly appeared out of nowhere, floating in the chilly wind as if it had been made out of air itself. "Hello, Nui Onimusha," he said and immediately vanished, leaving only a burst of air. Nui widened his eyes in alarm and grasped his katana's handle, but it was too late, as he glanced behind in horror to see Zara, who held his katana to Nui's neck.

"And goodbye."

"I'm sure you have heard of the Legend of the Messiahs, such as you
recognized me as one of them," Leon said, "but I have to repeat it to you, to prepare you for what is to come." Now sitting on the "floor", Sakura looked up at Leon in a mixture of respect and curiosity.

Sorry, but I have no time for myths. What was that weapon that my opponent used?

Leon sighed. "If you wish to know what it is, you will have to hear my story."

At those words, Leon offered a small smile.
"Very well, my dear."

"Over two millenniums ago, there was thirteen warriors who were stronger, had more wisdom, and were faster than all. At that time, the world was full with all sorts of problems. Poverty was all over the world, where robbery was a common thing. Diseases and homicides were common as well, and people died every single day. In those days, only the Ancients, the Gods, had any wealth or happiness in their so-called ever-lasting life. They kept all the food and such, only giving the remaining scraps to us puny humans. Anyone who rebelled or despised them were punished, with the Ancients' weapons, also known as the 'Weapons of Mass Destruction'."

Wait...does that mean that my opponent had used a weapons of the gods against me?

Leon simply shook his head, now setting his eyes at Sakura.

"No, at least not at full strength. Weapons of Mass Destruction will automatically reset to their weakest point of power when faced with a new owner. Your opponent, Matsumora Anokichi, had only received hers' a few days ago."

Sakura widened her eyes in response, shocked.

But.....her weapon alone damaged over ten kilometers of the land...

Leon nodded. "Yes, that's about the size of a forest. You were fortunate that she had not awoken it any further, or you would have might not won this victory. As the original owner of the 'Weapon of Mass Destruction #45: Flaming Chains of Hell', I assure you, the greatest extent of its damage is over two hundred and fifty kilometers."

"Anyways, let me continue my tale. Weapons of Mass Destruction were ranked in strength and power according to damage, making this weapon--"

Leon gazed at his hand and suddenly, the chains that Matsumora had earlier wielded, appeared in his hands.

"--the forty-fifth strongest Weapon of Mass Destruction. Anyways, let's continued our story; the Ancients, they had this --"

CUCKOO!

Immediately as well as suddenly, the noise was heard. Leon glanced behind while Sakura stood up and to look at what Leon was glancing at. And she immediately wished she hadn't. Set behind Leon's throne was a high and mighty clock. The clock was an old traditional kind, yet set off an uncomfortable aura. Darkness seemed to swirl around it; however, the worst part was the bird that popped out as it yelled, "Cuckoo!"
Upon looking at it, Sakura suddenly collapsed, as she was sent inside a realm of true darkness. She crouched there, on both knees, her eyes wide open. Sakura then broke out of her trance as Leon spoke.
"Oh well, it seems it's time to go for you, my dear."
He sat up and leaned on one side on his throne. "It was a nice time talking to you," he said as the floor suddenly dropped and Sakura fell through, falling into hell.

Chapter Forty-Four: Tenso Ukitaro


Kaname growled in frustration as he blocked Senso's kunai with his fist. He glanced to his other side to see Kato sprinting at him with a small dagger. With a howl, he ducked as Kato's blade barely passed his furry head, by mere centimeters. At that moment, where both Kato and Senso were off-guard for less than even a second, Kaname countered by leaping upwards as Kato's short blade twirled through the air where Kaname had occupied a little ago. Kaname then quickly began to form handsigns as Kato and Senso looked up in alarm.
Wind Scythe Howl! Kaname thought as he opened his mouth, showing his canine-like teeth as he howled and a enormous burst of wind mixed with energy shot out of his mouth, heading swiftly at Kato and Senso. Kato then formed a handsign as Senso stepped back. "Water Style: Water Dome!" Kato shouted as the ice around him began to crack. The rushing cold water gave in, as the ice finally shattered and the water swirled Kato, quickly forming together into a sphere made out of water that had both Kato and Senso standing inside it.
And Kaname's attack struck dead-on on the water dome as everything went white.

"A light clone, eh?" Zara stated as the body that he had strike slowly evaporated into light. The particles of light slowly drifted into the atmosphere, fading away. He then glanced to his right to see Nui, who gripped his katana in his hands. Stealth-like, Zara ran forward to face his opponent.
Just as he was halfway through reaching Nui, someone emerged. As the newly arrived figured lashed his weapon at Zara, who barely deflected it with his own weapon, the attacker's expression pulled back in a wild broad grinned that seemed to intimidate everyone near him.

"Ready to die, whoever you are?" Tenso grinned wickedly, his intent to kill setting off everyone an uneasy feeling.

The journey that Sakura had endured, through Hell was horrifying as well as thrilling. It was completely unimaginable and truly frightening, and for a normal human to even experience it for a split second would immediately cause them to go insane. To risk from that happening, the author would NOT explain what horrors Sakura had to go through. Instead, he would just advance into the scene of what happens afterwards.

Sakura hit the ground with a loud thud. After a few minutes of just staying sprawled on the ice, she then slowly stood up, shivering and shuddering from her not-so-long-ago experience.

Then, she heard a voice: a voice that had haunted her life, a voice that she resented and loved at the same time, and a voice that brought her back many memories, both pleasant ones and painful ones.

"Welcome, my student." Hisagi said as he sat casually on his throne with a smile on his face.

Chapter Forty-Five: Passing the Icy Storm


Tenso Ukitaro was a one-man army, or so he claims it. Arrogant and quick to anger, he is considered one of the most dangerous men in the Light Clan, having an endless thirst for homicide.
He was also the twin of of Senso Ukitaro.
His appearance exactly like his brother. Tenso Ukitaro would have made an excellent shinobi if not for his illness, which caused him to have a mental breakdown occasionally and always result in bloodshed, with him killing whoever
he could see. And that issue caused him to be caged in a maximum cell everyday, constantly hated and feared.

And now he stood, blocking Zara's blade with a long lance, the exact lance that Senso had. Zara glared at Senso and opened his mouth to speak. "Well, well, looks like this'll be more interesting than I've thought."

Smoke hung on the horizon of the area of Senso's, Kato's, and Kaname's battle. The smoke quietly drifted, and an aura of calm peace filled the cold winds. And that moment of complete silence immediately stopped as the battlers emerged.
Kaname was in the air, glancing down where his Wind Howl had struck his enemies. As he landed on the ice with a loud thud, he gazed up. Standing there, still protected and unscathed except for a few cuts here and there was Kato, who was still surrounded in his water dome, which was now lazily drifting in the atmosphere, only parts of it remaining from Kaname's attack.
Where's the other guy, Kaname thought. Then he realized it as a lance whipped out of the cloud of smoke, striking Kaname right at the shoulder. Blood immediately spilled, splashing onto the ice, as Senso appeared, five centimeters west of Kato and seven centimeters facing Kaname, who stood, the lance stuck in his left shoulder, in shock. "How did you.." Kaname wondered.
Senso offered a shrug as Kato started forming handsigns. "It was pretty simple. You are strong and swift, but your movements are predictable. In other words, you were slipping up, and now you're gonna pay for it."

Kaname growled in frustration. "I see.....in other words..I was getting sloppier. I see no way to avoid this now: unfortunately for you, I will have to use it. Now.....goodbye, Light Clan Ninja."

As Kato and Senso prepared themselves for the worst to come, Kaname whispered these words:

"Ninja Art: Impure of Darkness- World End."

Kaname growled in frustration. "I see.....in other words..I was getting sloppier. I see no way to avoid this now: unfortunately for you, I will have to use it. Now.....goodbye, Light Clan Ninja."

Chapter Forty-Six: Meeting with her Previous Master


Note: Nui Gaiden is slowly closing to an end (didn't you'd notice?), so let's celebrate these last few chapters of it! :)


It's.... him! Sakura thought in horror as she immediately took a step back, gazing at the casually seated Hisagi Onimusha, who smiled. "So how have you been doing, .........Sakura?"
Sakura managed a smirk as she shook with anger, barely able to stand still. "What's it to you, who abandoned our clan after slaughtering a hundred of it's shinobi?" Hisagi said nothing, still setting his pitch black eyes on Sakura.

"That night...when you left the clan....you killed my parents." Sakura said, as tears of anger, from her suppressed feelings, flowed down her face.

"What are you doing just standing there, boy," Tenso said as he was kept in locked, his lance interlocked with Zara's blade. Nui then immediately looked up at Tenso. "I'm surprised that they would release you.." he commented. Tenso offered a broad smirk. "It was Kato's doing, actually..."
Zara frowned. "You are far too arrogant for your own good, Tenso Ukitaro...let's end that arrogance here and now!" Tenso grinned wickedly at those words. "Look who's talking! But I am surprised...how do you know of me?"
He then turned back at Nui and yelled, "Go already! Unless..you wish to be killed by me." Nui gulped and then after a moment of slight hesitation, nodded and continued running to his destination. Zara tried to head right after him, but Tenso wasn't that dumb.
After a moment of thinking, Zara remained silent and then released one of his hands from the grip on his sword. With a flick of his hand, five swords immediately appeared out of the freezing air, all had appeared out of nowhere. As soon as the five blades were made, Zara pointed at Tenso as the five swords skewered themselves at their target.
Tenso snarled. With a sidestep, he dodged the first one. As the second one came, he rolled to the left, dodging it. In mid-roll, the third one came at him, and Tenso deflected it with his lance. The fourth blade came down, and Tenso, who was now on his feet, countered with a backflip, narrowly dodging the sword. He then glanced up to see the fifth blade, behind him. With a ungraceful but effective strike from his lance, the blade was sent flying back. "That all you got?" Tenso bragged, grinning.
"Not even the slightest." Zara muttered and flicked his hands again as countless blades in the air suddenly appeared.

"Ninja Art: 100 Blades of Atonement."

And with that, the countless swords lashed at Tenso, who said, "Oh crap."
Zara offered a casual smile. "And I haven't even started yet."

"On that night, when you left our clan.....you lied to me, your comrades, everybody. You broadcast an emergency meeting with all the Jonin in the village....and when they came....you killed all of them....every single last one....even my parents." Sakura said, as she shook her fists, as tears dripped down to the icy floor. Hisagi remained silent, but then began to stood up.
"And now...when I heard that they saw you...I was convinced," Sakura muttered as she slowly took out a kunai, "I'll kill you, for my parents!"

And she charged right out at Hisagi, wielding a kunai. She drew the kunai, in a last effort, for she knew that this move would likely kill her, yet it would bring her old sensei down with her. Sakura threw the kunai.

As it flew, the kunai brightened as Sakura yelled, "Ninja Art:Flash of White Death!" And from the kunai, light emerged, blinding everything, overwhelming everyone.

And the light burst stopped, and Sakura stood, her eyes widened as blood struck the ice, as Sakura glanced down to see one of Hisagi's scimitars in her stomach and through it, her blood on it, slowly dripping.
He...he overcame my jutsu! Sakura realized with a sense of shock.


And everything went pitch black.

Chapter Forty-Seven: Part One: Captured


Hisagi stood over the cell. A masked subordinate was behind him, saluting, waiting for orders. The cell was made entirely of ice, and was crafted beautifully. Cells were made next, all placed next to each other. All cells were empty, except for one, and that one was the one that Hisagi was gazing at.
Sakura was sprawled on the cell floor, unconscious. Her wounds were already cleaned and treated; Hisagi had requested for a medical ninja to treat her wounds.
After a moment of silence, Hisagi spoke:
"Watch over her, in case."

And he left.

The moment Kaname said those words, every source of light had vanished completely, leaving Kato and Senso in horrifying darkness. In the shadows, surrounded by infinite darkness, they heard nothing, saw nothing, smelt nothing, felt nothing, and tasted nothing.
And suddenly, blood spilled out as a gash had somehow appeared on Kato's shoulder. With a yell of pain, Kato fell to his knees. Somehow, an invisible attacker had struck Kato. Senso quickly moved toward Kato to help him.

Unknown and unseen to everyone, Kaname stood five yards from the injured Kato with a snarl on his face.

Impure of Darkness-World End was a special jutsu that only Kaname could wield. It allowed the user to create a dome that would surround a certain kilometer of the area and anyone in the dome except for the user will have all their five senses made invalid. That was its first abilities. There were other abilities, but Kaname had only managed to summon the first power, due to his current chakra level.

But he knew, it would be enough to kill them, once and for all.

Hisagi glanced at the chessboard next to his throne. He walked up, in a casual manner, and picked up a piece. With that, he swapped that piece of the piece "Nui Onimusha". With the piece of Nui Onimusha, he placed it two squares from his black king, and one piece with the words "Sakura Helga", stood between them.

"Your move, my son," Hisagi muttered under his breath, "However, to get to the King, you would have to take out the Pawns first."

"You have lost," Nami muttered as she slowly and carefully cleaned the blood stains on her clothes with a napkin. "Be glad that I am merciful." Allon laid on the floor, sprawled as he glanced up. "To be so young....and use a Weapon of Mass Destruction. How do you manage it?"
Nami offered a shrug. "It's not that hard. Anyways, farewell." And with those words, she turned to leave, heading for the direction that Nui had left.
"A few words of caution: where you are heading to, you will not return." Allon said just as Nami was almost our of earshot. Nami glanced back.

"There's no turning back now." she replied and left.

Chapter Forty-Seven: Part Two: Rescued


The guard that Hisagi had assigned to the post to guard Sakura Helga laid sprawled on the floor, knocked out as blood ran form his nose. Sakura's cell, the ice door now wide opened, contained nobody inside, for Sakura was gone.

A half hour ago, Nui had finally arrived to help. Using a simple light clone distraction, he had quickly and effectively knocked out the guard with an attack from the back. He then searched through the guard's pockets, finally finding the key and unlocked the cell, freeing Sakura, more or less.

More than a few meters away, Nui slowly walked with Sakura, her arm hanging over his shoulder for support as she slumped with a grim look on her face. "Which way was it?" Nui asked her.



Sakura said nothing for a while, as her gazed in the distance as they walked. Then, she muttered in Nui's ear, "He's there." She pointed in Hisagi's direction, leading up to a huge pitch black door, notoriously known as a Black Gate.

"What the hell is going on?" Kato muttered while in pain, as he gripped as his shoulder. "I can't see anything." Senso nodded as he glanced around in caution. "Me neither."
Then Kaname struck once again as he ran through Kato with another slash. With a deep cut in his stomach, Kato collapsed with a yell of pain. Blood poured out of his wound, splashing onto the cool ice as Senso rushed to help as unseen by all, Kaname, rushed back.

I'll need to take out that Kato right there, he is the stronger of the two, Kaname thought and prepared to strike once again.
"Senso....." Kato murmured, barely under his breath as he gazed down, his eyelids barely opened. Senso glanced up. "What?" he replied. Kato then continued after a moment of hesitation.
"I have a plan....listen carefully and quietly..." Kato muttered to Senso.
He had finally penetrated Kaname's weakness.

As Nui and the slumping Sakura strolled over to the Black Gate, they felt the air around them start to thicken. It was soft at first, and ice-cold as usual. But now, just ten yards away, the air was a heated as the winds in a desert. On the verge of collapsing, both Sakura and Nui were being tested with their mettle.

And just as things couldn't get worse, Lord Hisagi appeared.

Chapter Forty-Eight: Last Chapter... of Nui Gaiden


Senso widened his eyes. "That's....crazy!" he said as Kato looked at him with a profound gaze. "It's the only way...if my theory is correct, then we'll succeed." "But what about your fiancee..." Senso muttered just as he felt a strange feeling inside him. Alerted, he then slowly stood up as Kaname, holding his weapon and unseen from his enemies, glared at him in alarm.

From what I'm guessing, this is a forbidden technique when my opponent said the words "Impure of Darkness- World End.". He also said 'Darkness' so it's likely that this jutsu takes away your enemies' sight. Also, just before I started bleeding, I felt a metal budge pressing against the part of my skin which was about to be pierced, so I'm guessing it has some flaws in it. I couldn't hear my opponent's movement either, neither could I smell him, so this jutsu should likely take away four of the five senses, the only working sense is feel, but it's still dimmed, Kato thought as he glanced at his surroundings.

So my theory should pull off...

It's h-him! Nui thought as his eyes widened. His father, Hisagi, glanced at him with a casual expression, with a slight frown. "What are you doing here, boy?" Hisagi questioned as he turned his gaze on Sakura, "I'm surprised you could still walk."
"To hell with you." Sakura muttered as Hisagi's lips curled into a playful smile.

"Now...let the main event begin." Hisagi said and started laughing, as the Black Gate doors pulled open. Before Nui or Sakura could defend themselves, hundreds, if not thousands, of pitch black hands slashed out of the swirling darkness in the Black Gate. The hands were long, stretching as they made their way, past the snickering Hisagi, and before you know it, the hands clutched Nui and Sakura, and pulled them in.

And the Black Gates closed with a slam, leaving not even a trace there, and Hisagi was missing as well.

With a howl, Kaname charged, ready. He swung his weapon at Kato, who stood there, alert yet not knowing what was to come. As Kaname's blade twirled at Kato's chest, just mere centimeters afar, Kato grinned as he felt the metal budge pressing against his skin.

His plan had pulled off.

And blood spilled everywhere, as Kaname's blade connected to Kato's chest, directly in the center, and through it. Kaname grin, but he stopped as he saw Kato lift his hand, mustering all his remaining strength. And, he gripped Kaname's blade.
"Why, hello there, you wolf-faced bastard." Kato murmured weakly as he coughed up blood.

"Senso, now!" Kato yelled. With a slight moment of hesitation, Senso ran as he rapidly formed handsigns, faster than the normal eye could see. Summoning Jutsu! Senso thought as a long lance appeared in his right hand. The lance was magnificent, looking exactly like the way that his twin wielded.

And Senso, with sadness in his eyes, skewered his lance, as it stabbed through Kato's body and into Kaname's neck.

Blood spilled, splashing everywhere as it dripped. With eyes of anger, Kaname fell into the floor. He glanced up to his killer, Senso, in fury as his eye dimmed, signally of his premised death.

"It's finally over." Senso muttered as tears formed, splattering on the cool ice.

Sakura and Nui slowly got from their sprawled positions; the moment those black hands had grabbed them, and the Black Gate has closed shut, they had saw nothing but darkness. Until now. Sakura took in the surroundings once again and realized where she now was.
Another dimension.... she thought as she glanced around; her and Nui were now in a whole different area. Similar to Leon Kurimakai's own dimension, this was just different by pressure and color. Instead of the blood-red heated swirling energy, it was pure pitch black. The only thing that wasn;t black swirling energy were them, and the marble floor they were on.
Even though everything around them was pure darkness, they could still see clearly. Sakura then looked over to Nui, who was crouched on his knees, his hands clawing at the marble floor in frustration. His white hair hung down, his eyes wide opened, still in shock of reuniting with his father.
Nui.., Sakura thought.

A few meters away, Lord Hisagi appeared, standing in the shadows with an amused smile on his face.

The black dome that Kaname had created with his jutsu was gone. It shed, like feathers of a crow, as soon as its creator had died. The feathers flew in the freezing winds, crumbling to nothing, as two figures stumbled out. Both of them were drenched in blood, one critically injured.
A large corpse laid on the ice behind, them, the corpse's face twisted in eternal agony.
The pair moved silently, save for their heavy breathing from their wounds. Kato kept a smile, for he was delighted at the defeat of his opponent. His arm was on Senso's shoulder, to help for support. Senso was silent, the markings of past tears on his face.
After a minute of walking, the two came on to a ledge created out of ice. Kato ordered Senso to place him down here, whom he did. Now leaning on the icy ledge, grinning weakly, with a bloody narrow gap in his chest, Kato said, "Leave me here. Go ahead and get Nui and Sakura."
Senso shook his head as tear began to appear. "You idiot," Kato muttered, "That's not a request, it's a damn order."
"But.." Senso said, "What about Sakura, your finacee! What about her?!"
Kato said nothing for a while as the two met eyes with each other. "We never really loved each other. It was a forced engagement. But I know that--"

Kato was interrupted, for he had coughed up blood then. The blood showered the ice, as Senso crouched down to assist him. "--you love her." Kato finished as he leaned toward the ledge, his eyes barely half opened, bags forming. Even though his comrade was dying, and small tears in his eyes, Senso couldn't help blushing in the midst of it all.
"Take care of her, Senso. This is your last order, to save her and Nui for me," Kato murmured in Senso's earshot.
"I'm going to rest now, Senso, so carry out your orders." Kato said. "Hey, don't go to sleep! Don't close your eyes! Stop giving in to the hypothermia! Stay awake, god dammit!" Senso begged, as his tears splashed unto the icy floor as the winds suddenly stopped a deadly stop.

With a small grin on his face, Kato gently closed his eyes as his breath halted to a stop. Deep within his body, his heart stopped beating as well.

Kato was dead.

You're weak.
With those words echoing deep within her head, Sakura slashed at the air in enraged anger. "Stop hiding, you coward!" she screamed at the air. "Who said I was ever hiding?" Hisagi said as he brought his blade down. With a shriek of pain, Sakura collapsed, a gap in her back, delivered by her ex-master's scimitar. The gray marble floors were now stained with dark-red blood. "One down," Hisagi stated as he glanced at his trembling son, "One more to go."

Damn it, Sakura thought as she barely glanced up to see Hisagi steadily approaching Nui. Move Nui!
Hisagi, now standing before Nui, glanced at his son with calm and cold eyes. Nui, however, remained his position, too shocked to make a move. Hisagi slowly brought his unsheathed scimitar up. It gleamed brilliantly in the light, shining like a scythe in the pale moonlight. "Farewell, little boy." Hisagi said and brought his blade down. As the blade was sent flying down, as Sakura tried to yell but couldn't, as Hisagi remained emotionless and cold, as the blade were seconds away from reaching Nui and instantly killing him, as the young boy remained in his position, too frightened to move.

"Dammit, move, Nui!!!" Sakura screamed.

Time seemed to pull to a sudden halt. Sakura, with blood drenched around her, gazed up in astonishment. Lord Hisagi, looked down with surprised eyes, yet betrayed no emotion. "Well, well." he said, breaking the silence.
Crouched down was Nui; he gripped his father's blade shakily. Long sharp fingernails had suddenly appeared on Nui, and long piercing fangs were visible, along with eyes of a predator. Nui was surrounded in a strange orange-colored bubbling chakra. Three long tails hung on his bottom, too made of a thick orange bubbly chakra. Hisagi said nothing as Nui glanced up, and whispered deathly, "You're going to die."
And he roared, as a huge blast of orange-color chakra emerged out of nowhere, smashing into Hisagi, who smiled.

Senso stood on the remnants of the icy battlefield alone, without a sound. His shoes were soaked, due to the overflowing ice-cold water flowing. He was gazing at the hole in the ice which he had made earlier. The hole was large enough for a human to fit through, and the freezing sea laid underneath it, cold as the somewhat thin ice above it. Dozens of meters under that ocean, in the sandy sea floor, was the body of Kato. Kato's corpse laid on the crusty floor, and still wore a thin smile.

He at least deserved a burial, Senso thought. After a few moments, Senso remained there, without moving an inch nor breaking the silence. Finally, it was broken, but not by him, but someone else.

"It's time to go." Nami murmured. Senso slowly turned his attention to her. "Just a few minutes, you go on ahead." Senso replied after another moment of silence. "All right, you better catch up." Nami muttered, and returned his glance with her own, and he could see tracks of tears. However, before Senso could comment on it, Nami took off with a yell: "I'm not waiting on you!"
Then, came a heavy fog of quietness. After a while, Senso looked at the lance which he had placed down next to him. Though it had been only used once, it gave off an aura that suggested that it had been through the horrible elements of warfare. The lance was still stained with Kato's and Kaname's blood.
Senso sighed and with a moment of pondering, picked up his lance slowly. He then lifted it in the direction of Kato's burial and dropped the lance in the gap. The lance slowly floated down, as the frigid waters guided its path.

Senso offered a small smile, and he knew if would be the last time he would ever smile again for several years, for he was mourning his friend's death, whom he had killed.

"Farewell.... Kato." Senso murmured to himself as he left, as the lone spear shifted to and fro, descending, under the calm sea, in the grave of a Shinobi of the Light Clan.

"Dammit..." Three-Tailed Sabertooth Nui muttered as he passed out. Nui was laying on the marble floor, and his orange chakra coat had now disappeared, due to heavy injury. He had been defeated by his father. Numerous huge cuts and gaps filled his body.
Hisagi stood over him, grasping his blade, which was drenched in his son's blood. His cool demeanor remained intact, as he stared down at the damage he had delivered. Nui's injuries were a large slash in the chest, two narrow gaps on each shoulder, a large wound on his back, and five stabs in his limbs, immobilizing him.
Sakura was still sprawled on the floor as well, barely conscious, mustering all of her inner strength to do so. She then glanced up to see Hisagi moved. He stood there, for a moment, facing Nui's direction, her only seeing his back. Then he suddenly vanished, gone, followed with a strange static noise that hurt Sakura's ears for a moment.

She widened her eyes as Hisagi reappeared before her, and brought his blade down. Looking at Nui, and then turning her gaze on her ex-sensei, Sakura closed her eyes.

And then, everything stopped. Literally. Hisagi's scimitar remained in the air, and his cold and cool emotion didn't falter. No one made a move, because they could not move at all. Time had been halted as, in the distance dark swirling energies, two figures arose from the shadows. Both were cloaked in sleek black cloaks decorated with white flames at the collars, hood, and bottom, with hoods.

"You know the Hitotoki Hodo (Time Limit)." one figure said. His voice was heavy and dark, and had a Russian accent to it. "Of course." the other figure replied. That figure's voice was light, yet had a dark element to it. That figure then brought his hood down, revealing a familiar face. "I'll be done soon." Leon Kurimakai said.
He started walking, in the direction of Sakura Helga. Suddenly, Leon disappeared, followed with a Swooshing noise. He reappeared again, now standing between the still Hisagi and frozen Sakura. Leon smiled and he put his hands inside his cloak's pockets. After a while of searching, he found what he was looking for. With a thin smile, Leon pulled the object out of the cloak's pockets. He then slowly reached down, and gently touched Sakura's forehead. Suddenly, the silence stopped as Sakura looked up in reaction.
"W-wh-what?"
"Greetings, my dear." Leon murmured within her earshot. "Stop flirting and get it over with!" the Russian-accented figure yelled.

With a somewhat annoyed expression, Leon nodded. "Fine." He then flashed a smile at Sakura and brought to her face that object he had been searching for. The object was a small orb. Dark swirling energy similar to the energy swirling around them right now were in the orb. As soon as her eyes set on it, Sakura felt an odd sensation. She immediately coughed, as blood splashed onto the marble floor once more. "What is that?" Sakura questioned weakly. "Don't worry, my dear.
This won't hurt..much." Leon replied and shoved the sphere right into Sakura's stomach, and she began screaming.

Damn you, Nui Onimusha.
The voice came from the darkness.
Nui Onimusha stood in a dark area. All he remembered was his father stabbing Sakura, one of his mentors, and suddenly, everything went a fiery shade of orange as he lost his grip on consciousness and fell into unconsciousness. Then he woke up, to found himself laying in a puddle of his own blood and Hisagi, his own father, glancing coldly at him. Hisagi Onimusha, his own father, had killed him.

You are a fool. Nui Onimusha, you should have released all of my power!
The voice came again, more fiercer this time. Nui glanced up, and saw that he was standing in a dry area. The wind was blowing, and skulls were all around him. Skeletons were hung on the blood-drenched walls. Nui looked up, expecting sunlight, but saw none, not even a sun. Then he glanced at what was in front of him.

A sabertooth tiger was before him. It laid lazily on the blood-covered ground, and bones were around him everywhere. The sabertooth tiger had fierce orange fur, and vermillion piercing eyes seemed to skewer anyone who wound go near him. Fourteen tails covered in fur hung in the winds, moving slowly.
"Who are you?" Nui asked in awe.
You mean you don't know? the voice came again, and Nui immediately realized that it was the sabertooth tiger talking. After all, it was your father who sealed me in your body.
"What do you mean--" Nui asked but was interrupted. No more questions, Nui Onimusha, it seems that you are needed in the Mortal World once again. Your time has not yet come.
"Wait--!" Nui yelled as the sabertooth tiger seemed to chuckle, showing long pairs of fangs in the midst of it.

Farewell...we will certainly meet again.

And everything went black.

"The process is finished." Leon muttered as he glanced at the unconscious Sakura. "The Kuro Omoi (Black Heart) has accepted Sakura Helga."
The other figure simply nodded. "It is time to go. Shatter the Hitotoki Gyou-Sakusei (Time Freeze-Frame), Zetsumei." The Russian-accented man, named Zetsumei Karakushi, nodded once more and then said, "Shatter, Hitotoki Gyou-Sakusei (Time Freeze-Frame)." Immediately, Leon grinned and walked into the swirling darkness, Zetsumei followed suit. As soon as they left, a huge noise erupted, the sound of breaking glass, as the halt of time stopped and continued once again.

Hisagi shook off the halt and continue to bring his scimitar down. It crashed into the marble floor, chipping part of it, as Hisagi glanced up with little surprise. He then looked to his right to see the unconscious Sakura, who's faced was covered by her hair. How did she move there? Hisagi thought and then disappeared once again, followed with that static sound. Hisagi reappeared before Sakura and then swung his sword once again. "Stop!"
The yell came unexpectedly, as Hisagi turned his head at the source of the voice. Crouching on one knee was Nui, his right eye wincing from pain. "Stop right there.." Nui murmured. Then followed a moment of silence, until Hisagi finally broke it: "I am surprised you're still breathing, boy. It was the 14 Tails, wasn't it?"
"It's none of your business." : Was Nui's answer. At that moment, a shadow clone appeared from behind Hisagi. It tackled him in a beag hug and opened its mouth, exposing a scorching paper bomb.

BOOM

Smoke burned in the midst as Hisagi slid out of the smoke, completely unharmed. He glanced up to see Nui charge outright at him as orange chakra started to manifest, yet this time more stable. Hisagi calmly stood there as he watched the orange chakra around his son start to bubble. Furious, Nui brought out a kunai from his holster pouch and attacked with all his might.

Unfortunately, that wasn't enough. Hisagi stood calmly, his free hand gripping Nui's arm, preventing Nui from attacking. Before Nui could move, Hisagi, with his other hand, which was grasping the scimitar, skewered Nui, right in his chest. Blood spilled as Nui widened his eyes and shrieked in pain. Meanwhile, Lord Hisagi let go of the scimitar, as it hung in Nui's blood-drenched wound. He then formed a single handsign, an unfamiliar one to the likes of which Nui had witnessed.
"Chounin Sono Bijuu (Sealing of the Bijuu)." Hisagi said as something appeared in his hand. Markings in black ink instantly appeared and five kanji words arose on his fingertips, as a pitch black sphere. With a cool face, he propelled the black sphere on Nui.'

The pitch black orb struck Nui, and he was sent flying. He flew through the whole ten meters, landing on the thick marble eastern edge, with strange markings on his chest, delivered by the Chounin Sono Bijuu. With a groan, Nui slipped into unconscious.
"Chounin Sono Bijuu, a secret jutsu that allows the user to seal Bijuu's powers or prevent a Jinchuriki from using their Bijuu." Hisagi stated, as he saw Sakura slowly stand up.
"A kinjutsu that I had learned from your mother." Hisagi finished, as Sakura glared at him. Sakura had been unconscious since Leon's trip, she had recently woken up. What was strange was that she had discovered that all her wounds have healed. And Sakura felt stronger this time.
Sakura then grinned. "Are you prepared to die?" Hisagi remained neutral, still not giving away any emotion.
"Such brave words, but will you be able to act upon those words?" Hisagi muttered. Sakura's lips curled into a broad, if not seemingly wicked, grin. Something had happened to her. And it made her change, and not in the good way. "Yes." Sakura finally answered and disappeared with the following of a static sound. She then reappeared mere centimeters before Hisagi and took out dual kunais, and hacked at him with it. Hisagi quickly blocked her twin kunais with a block from his scimitar as he widened his eyes.
She's gotten faster! he realized as Sakura chuckled and kicked upwards at him. Hisagi blocked it again with his blade, but he was still sent flying from the impact. He quickly landed on the swirling dark energy, surprising, since the dark energy was as solid as air. With a grunt, Hisagi muttered, "Lightning Style: Pale Strike." Immediately, a blast of pure lightning shot out of his fingertips, heading toward Sakura at the speed of lightning. Sakura, who continued her chuckling, took out something of her holster pouch and took out a small object and threw it in the air. The ball then exploded, as light emerged, overwhelming the whole room.

"What the heck?!" Nami asked in surprise as the light enveloped her and Senso. "It's Sakura," Senso muttered, his eyes closed shut. Happily, he said, "She's still alive."

Zara sat in the sandy desert, his eyes closed. He was meditating. After battling against the homicide-obsessed Tenso, he had used the Black Gate to enter here. The sun was up as usual, shining like a diamond. The wind blew harshly, as tracks of crusty sand were moved due to it. He remained silent, until he sensed someone near him. Zara slowly opened his eyes, careful to not let the flying sand into his eyelids.
"It's ready." Allon said. Zara had encountered Allon while traveling to the nearest Black Gate, and he had informed Allon about Matsumora's and Kaname's deaths. Allon did not react to heard of his comrades' death, just Zara had thought so.
Zara nodded and replied, "Go on."
"The self-destruct is ready to be deployed. Once done, the Black Gate will be destroyed, as well as the base, killing our opponents and witnesses in the midst." Allon explained. "And Lord Hisagi?" Zara asked.
"He has already been informed."

"Good" Zara muttered and stood up. He spun around, to glance at the human-sized cage that he had placed there earlier. A human, with bloody marks all over his body, was uncomfortably in the steel cage. It was Tenso. "Now then, we are to wake for Lord Hisagi, correct?"

At that moment, Hisagi appeared, unexpectedly. Keeping a cold feature, he glanced at Zara, Allon, and Tenso, each in turn. There was a small scratch on his cheek, halfway to beginning to bleed. His two Chinese scimitars were still well and strapped on his back. In one arm, he carried an unconscious Sakura by the back collar. "Gentlemen, it is time to depart." he announced and snapped as a Black Gate appeared behind him.

Allon formed a handsign as Zara bit his fingertip. Blood flowed out, and he formed handsigns as well. After a string of handsigns, Zara smiled and slammed his hand on the sand, as markings appeared, signalling of the self-destruct.

Then, with no reluctance, the pair hurried after Lord Hisagi, toward the Black Gate, as the countdown to destruction began, with only ten seconds.

Nui!
The voice was light, and bright, offering of a cheery day.
Hey, wake up!
This voice was deep, and was the voice of a warrior.

Nui Onimusha opened his eyes.

"Hi, Nui-kun!" Nami yelled happily, relived of his wakening.

"So you finally woken up." Senso muttered quietly.

~Over the days, Nui informed Senso and Nami of his reuniting with his father and Sakura Helga's disappearance. Unbelieving to give up, Senso searched for her for days, for the sake of Kato. Even though, they could not find her, and she was confirmed dead. On their last day in the Frozen Wasteland, Nui, Senso, and Nami visited Kato's grave. They soon departed for the Light Clan, and returned after a couple of days of traveling, bearing grim news. On the months and years to pass, Nui continued training, gradually increasing in strength. Nami trained as well, now more determined then ever to protect her loved one, and for Senso, his past happy personality was now gone, now replaced with a strict and melancholy characteristic, due to Kato's death. The three continued on the path of life, still guilty-ridden with the deaths of their comrades But what they did not know, was that Sakura Helga was alive, very alive.~

Senso widened his eyes. "That's....demented!" he said as Kato looked at him with a profound gaze. "It's the only way...if my theory is correct, then we'll succeed." "But what about your fiancee..." Senso muttered just as he felt a strange feeling inside him. Alerted, he then slowly stood up as Kaname, holding his weapon and unseen from his enemies, glared at him in alarm.

From what I'm guessing, this is a forbidden technique when my opponent said the words "Impure of Darkness- World End.". He also said 'Darkness' so it's likely that this jutsu takes away your enemies' sight. Also, just before I started bleeding, I felt a metal budge pressing against the part of my skin which was about to be pierced, so I'm guessing it has some flaws in it. I couldn't hear my opponent's movement either, neither could I smell him, so this jutsu should likely take away four of the five senses, the only working sense is feel, but it's still dimmed, Kato thought as he glanced at his surroundings.

So my theory should pull off...

It's h-him! Nui thought as his eyes widened. His father, Hisagi, glanced at him with a casual expression, with a slight frown. "What are you doing here, boy?" Hisagi questioned as he turned his gaze on Sakura, "I'm surprised you could still walk."
"To hell with you." Sakura muttered as Hisagi's lips curled into a playful smile.

"Now...let the main event begin." Hisagi said and started laughing, as the Black Gate doors pulled open. Before Nui or Sakura could defend themselves, hundreds, if not thousands, of pitch black hands slashed out of the swirling darkness in the Black Gate. The hands were long, stretching as they made their way, past the snickering Hisagi, and before you know it, the hands clutched Nui and Sakura, and pulled them in.

And the Black Gates closed with a slam, leaving not even a trace there, and Hisagi was missing as well.

With a howl, Kaname charged, ready. He swung his weapon at Kato, who stood there, alert yet not knowing what was to come. As Kaname's blade twirled at Kato's chest, just mere centimeters afar, Kato grinned as he felt the metal budge pressing against his skin.

His plan had pulled off.

And blood spilled everywhere, as Kaname's blade connected to Kato's chest, directly in the center, and through it. Kaname grin, but he stopped as he saw Kato lift his hand, mustering all his remaining strength. And, he gripped Kaname's blade.
"Why, hello there, you wolf-faced bastard." Kato murmured weakly as he coughed up blood.

"Senso, now!" Kato yelled. With a slight moment of hesitation, Senso ran as he rapidly formed handsigns, faster than the normal eye could see. Summoning Jutsu! Senso thought as a long lance appeared in his right hand. The lance was magnificent, looking exactly like the way that his twin wielded.

And Senso, with sadness in his eyes, skewered his lance, as it stabbed through Kato's body and into Kaname's neck.

Blood spilled, splashing everywhere as it dripped. With eyes of anger, Kaname fell into the floor. He glanced up to his killer, Senso, in fury as his eye dimmed, signally of his premised death.

"It's finally over." Senso muttered as tears formed, splattering on the cool ice.

Sakura and Nui slowly got from their sprawled positions; the moment those black hands had grabbed them, and the Black Gate has closed shut, they had saw nothing but darkness. Until now. Sakura took in the surroundings once again and realized where she now was.
Another dimension.... she thought as she glanced around; her and Nui were now in a whole different area. Similar to Leon Kurimakai's own dimension, this was just different by pressure and color. Instead of the blood-red heated swirling energy, it was pure pitch black. The only thing that wasn;t black swirling energy were them, and the marble floor they were on.
Even though everything around them was pure darkness, they could still see clearly. Sakura then looked over to Nui, who was crouched on his knees, his hands clawing at the marble floor in frustration. His white hair hung down, his eyes wide opened, still in shock of reuniting with his father.
Nui.., Sakura thought.

A few meters away, Lord Hisagi appeared, standing in the shadows with an amused smile on his face.

The black dome that Kaname had created with his jutsu was gone. It shed, like feathers of a crow, as soon as its creator had died. The feathers flew in the freezing winds, crumbling to nothing, as two figures stumbled out. Both of them were drenched in blood, one critically injured.
A large corpse laid on the ice behind, them, the corpse's face twisted in eternal agony.
The pair moved silently, save for their heavy breathing from their wounds. Kato kept a smile, for he was delighted at the defeat of his opponent. His arm was on Senso's shoulder, to help for support. Senso was silent, the markings of past tears on his face.
After a minute of walking, the two came on to a ledge created out of ice. Kato ordered Senso to place him down here, whom he did. Now leaning on the icy ledge, grinning weakly, with a bloody narrow gap in his chest, Kato said, "Leave me here. Go ahead and get Nui and Sakura."
Senso shook his head as tear began to appear. "You idiot," Kato muttered, "That's not a request, it's a damn order."
"But.." Senso said, "What about Sakura, your finacee! What about her?!"
Kato said nothing for a while as the two met eyes with each other. "We never really loved each other. It was a forced engagement. But I know that--"

Kato was interrupted, for he had coughed up blood then. The blood showered the ice, as Senso crouched down to assist him. "--you love her." Kato finished as he leaned toward the ledge, his eyes barely half opened, bags forming. Even though his comrade was dying, and small tears in his eyes, Senso couldn't help blushing in the midst of it all.
"Take care of her, Senso. This is your last order, to save her and Nui for me," Kato murmured in Senso's earshot.
"I'm going to rest now, Senso, so carry out your orders." Kato said. "Hey, don't go to sleep! Don't close your eyes! Stop giving in to the hypothermia! Stay awake, god dammit!" Senso begged, as his tears splashed unto the icy floor as the winds suddenly stopped a deadly stop.

With a small grin on his face, Kato gently closed his eyes as his breath halted to a stop. Deep within his body, his heart stopped beating as well.

Kato was dead.

You're weak.
With those words echoing deep within her head, Sakura slashed at the air in enraged anger. "Stop hiding, you coward!" she screamed at the air. "Who said I was ever hiding?" Hisagi said as he brought his blade down. With a shriek of pain, Sakura collapsed, a gap in her back, delivered by her ex-master's scimitar. The gray marble floors were now stained with dark-red blood. "One down," Hisagi stated as he glanced at his trembling son, "One more to go."

Damn it, Sakura thought as she barely glanced up to see Hisagi steadily approaching Nui. Move Nui!
Hisagi, now standing before Nui, glanced at his son with calm and cold eyes. Nui, however, remained his position, too shocked to make a move. Hisagi slowly brought his unsheathed scimitar up. It gleamed brilliantly in the light, shining like a scythe in the pale moonlight. "Farewell, little boy." Hisagi said and brought his blade down. As the blade was sent flying down, as Sakura tried to yell but couldn't, as Hisagi remained emotionless and cold, as the blade were seconds away from reaching Nui and instantly killing him, as the young boy remained in his position, too frightened to move.


"Dammit, move, Nui!!!" Sakura screamed.


Time seemed to pull to a sudden halt. Sakura, with blood drenched around her, gazed up in astonishment. Lord Hisagi, looked down with surprised eyes, yet betrayed no emotion. "Well, well." he said, breaking the silence.
Crouched down was Nui; he gripped his father's blade shakily. Long sharp fingernails had suddenly appeared on Nui, and long piercing fangs were visible, along with eyes of a predator. Nui was surrounded in a strange orange-colored bubbling chakra. Three long tails hung on his bottom, too made of a thick orange bubbly chakra. Hisagi said nothing as Nui glanced up, and whispered deathly, "You're going to die."
And he roared, as a huge blast of orange-color chakra emerged out of nowhere, smashing into Hisagi, who smiled.

Senso stood on the remnants of the icy battlefield alone, without a sound. His shoes were soaked, due to the overflowing ice-cold water flowing. He was gazing at the hole in the ice which he had made earlier. The hole was large enough for a human to fit through, and the freezing sea laid underneath it, cold as the somewhat thin ice above it. Dozens of meters under that ocean, in the sandy sea floor, was the body of Kato. Kato's corpse laid on the crusty floor, and still wore a thin smile.

He at least deserved a burial, Senso thought. After a few moments, Senso remained there, without moving an inch nor breaking the silence. Finally, it was broken, but not by him, but someone else.

"It's time to go." Nami murmured. Senso slowly turned his attention to her. "Just a few minutes, you go on ahead." Senso replied after another moment of silence. "All right, you better catch up." Nami muttered, and returned his glance with her own, and he could see tracks of tears. However, before Senso could comment on it, Nami took off with a yell: "I'm not waiting on you!"
Then, came a heavy fog of quietness. After a while, Senso looked at the lance which he had placed down next to him. Though it had been only used once, it gave off an aura that suggested that it had been through the horrible elements of warfare. The lance was still stained with Kato's and Kaname's blood.
Senso sighed and with a moment of pondering, picked up his lance slowly. He then lifted it in the direction of Kato's burial and dropped the lance in the gap. The lance slowly floated down, as the frigid waters guided its path.

Senso offered a small smile, and he knew if would be the last time he would ever smile again for several years, for he was mourning his friend's death, whom he had killed.

"Farewell.... Kato." Senso murmured to himself as he left, as the lone spear shifted to and fro, descending, under the calm sea, in the grave of a Shinobi of the Light Clan.

"Dammit..." Three-Tailed Sabertooth Nui muttered as he passed out. Nui was laying on the marble floor, and his orange chakra coat had now disappeared, due to heavy injury. He had been defeated by his father. Numerous huge cuts and gaps filled his body.
Hisagi stood over him, grasping his blade, which was drenched in his son's blood. His cool demeanor remained intact, as he stared down at the damage he had delivered. Nui's injuries were a large slash in the chest, two narrow gaps on each shoulder, a large wound on his back, and five stabs in his limbs, immobilizing him.
Sakura was still sprawled on the floor as well, barely conscious, mustering all of her inner strength to do so. She then glanced up to see Hisagi moved. He stood there, for a moment, facing Nui's direction, her only seeing his back. Then he suddenly vanished, gone, followed with a strange static noise that hurt Sakura's ears for a moment.

She widened her eyes as Hisagi reappeared before her, and brought his blade down. Looking at Nui, and then turning her gaze on her ex-sensei, Sakura closed her eyes.

And then, everything stopped. Literally. Hisagi's scimitar remained in the air, and his cold and cool emotion didn't falter. No one made a move, because they could not move at all. Time had been halted as, in the distance dark swirling energies, two figures arose from the shadows. Both were cloaked in sleek black cloaks decorated with white flames at the collars, hood, and bottom, with hoods.

"You know the Hitotoki Hodo (Time Limit)." one figure said. His voice was heavy and dark, and had a Russian accent to it. "Of course." the other figure replied. That figure's voice was light, yet had a dark element to it. That figure then brought his hood down, revealing a familiar face. "I'll be done soon." Leon Kurimakai said.
He started walking, in the direction of Sakura Helga. Suddenly, Leon disappeared, followed with a Swooshing noise. He reappeared again, now standing between the still Hisagi and frozen Sakura. Leon smiled and he put his hands inside his cloak's pockets. After a while of searching, he found what he was looking for. With a thin smile, Leon pulled the object out of the cloak's pockets. He then slowly reached down, and gently touched Sakura's forehead. Suddenly, the silence stopped as Sakura looked up in reaction.
"W-wh-what?"
"Greetings, my dear." Leon murmured within her earshot. "Stop flirting and get it over with!" the Russian-accented figure yelled.

With a somewhat annoyed expression, Leon nodded. "Fine." He then flashed a smile at Sakura and brought to her face that object he had been searching for. The object was a small orb. Dark swirling energy similar to the energy swirling around them right now were in the orb. As soon as her eyes set on it, Sakura felt an odd sensation. She immediately coughed, as blood splashed onto the marble floor once more. "What is that?" Sakura questioned weakly. "Don't worry, my dear.
This won't hurt..much." Leon replied and shoved the sphere right into Sakura's stomach, and she began screaming.

Damn you, Nui Onimusha.
The voice came from the darkness.
Nui Onimusha stood in a dark area. All he remembered was his father stabbing Sakura, one of his mentors, and suddenly, everything went a fiery shade of orange as he lost his grip on consciousness and fell into unconsciousness. Then he woke up, to found himself laying in a puddle of his own blood and Hisagi, his own father, glancing coldly at him. Hisagi Onimusha, his own father, had killed him.

You are a fool. Nui Onimusha, you should have released all of my power!
The voice came again, more fiercer this time. Nui glanced up, and saw that he was standing in a dry area. The wind was blowing, and skulls were all around him. Skeletons were hung on the blood-drenched walls. Nui looked up, expecting sunlight, but saw none, not even a sun. Then he glanced at what was in front of him.

A sabertooth tiger was before him. It laid lazily on the blood-covered ground, and bones were around him everywhere. The sabertooth tiger had fierce orange fur, and vermillion piercing eyes seemed to skewer anyone who wound go near him. Fourteen tails covered in fur hung in the winds, moving slowly.
"Who are you?" Nui asked in awe.
You mean you don't know? the voice came again, and Nui immediately realized that it was the sabertooth tiger talking. After all, it was your father who sealed me in your body.
"What do you mean--" Nui asked but was interrupted. No more questions, Nui Onimusha, it seems that you are needed in the Mortal World once again. Your time has not yet come.
"Wait--!" Nui yelled as the sabertooth tiger seemed to chuckle, showing long pairs of fangs in the midst of it.

Farewell...we will certainly meet again.

And everything went black.

"The process is finished." Leon muttered as he glanced at the unconscious Sakura. "The Kuro Omoi (Black Heart) has accepted Sakura Helga."
The other figure simply nodded. "It is time to go. Shatter the Hitotoki Gyou-Sakusei (Time Freeze-Frame), Zetsumei." The Russian-accented man, named Zetsumei Karakushi, nodded once more and then said, "Shatter, Hitotoki Gyou-Sakusei (Time Freeze-Frame)." Immediately, Leon grinned and walked into the swirling darkness, Zetsumei followed suit. As soon as they left, a huge noise erupted, the sound of breaking glass, as the halt of time stopped and continued once again.

Hisagi shook off the halt and continue to bring his scimitar down. It crashed into the marble floor, chipping part of it, as Hisagi glanced up with little surprise. He then looked to his right to see the unconscious Sakura, who's faced was covered by her hair. How did she move there? Hisagi thought and then disappeared once again, followed with that static sound. Hisagi reappeared before Sakura and then swung his sword once again. "Stop!"
The yell came unexpectedly, as Hisagi turned his head at the source of the voice. Crouching on one knee was Nui, his right eye wincing from pain. "Stop right there.." Nui murmured. Then followed a moment of silence, until Hisagi finally broke it: "I am surprised you're still breathing, boy. It was the 14 Tails, wasn't it?"
"It's none of your business." : Was Nui's answer. At that moment, a shadow clone appeared from behind Hisagi. It tackled him in a beag hug and opened its mouth, exposing a scorching paper bomb.


BOOM

Smoke burned in the midst as Hisagi slid out of the smoke, completely unharmed. He glanced up to see Nui charge outright at him as orange chakra started to manifest, yet this time more stable. Hisagi calmly stood there as he watched the orange chakra around his son start to bubble. Furious, Nui brought out a kunai from his holster pouch and attacked with all his might.

Unfortunately, that wasn't enough. Hisagi stood calmly, his free hand gripping Nui's arm, preventing Nui from attacking. Before Nui could move, Hisagi, with his other hand, which was grasping the scimitar, skewered Nui, right in his chest. Blood spilled as Nui widened his eyes and shrieked in pain. Meanwhile, Lord Hisagi let go of the scimitar, as it hung in Nui's blood-drenched wound. He then formed a single handsign, an unfamiliar one to the likes of which Nui had witnessed.
"Chounin Sono Bijuu (Sealing of the Bijuu)." Hisagi said as something appeared in his hand. Markings in black ink instantly appeared and five kanji words arose on his fingertips, as a pitch black sphere. With a cool face, he propelled the black sphere on Nui.'

The pitch black orb struck Nui, and he was sent flying. He flew through the whole ten meters, landing on the thick marble eastern edge, with strange markings on his chest, delivered by the Chounin Sono Bijuu. With a groan, Nui slipped into unconscious.
"Chounin Sono Bijuu, a secret jutsu that allows the user to seal Bijuu's powers or prevent a Jinchuriki from using their Bijuu." Hisagi stated, as he saw Sakura slowly stand up.
"A kinjutsu that I had learned from your mother." Hisagi finished, as Sakura glared at him. Sakura had been unconscious since Leon's trip, she had recently woken up. What was strange was that she had discovered that all her wounds have healed. And Sakura felt stronger this time.
Sakura then grinned. "Are you prepared to die?" Hisagi remained neutral, still not giving away any emotion.
"Such brave words, but will you be able to act upon those words?" Hisagi muttered. Sakura's lips curled into a broad, if not seemingly wicked, grin. Something had happened to her. And it made her change, and not in the good way. "Yes." Sakura finally answered and disappeared with the following of a static sound. She then reappeared mere centimeters before Hisagi and took out dual kunais, and hacked at him with it. Hisagi quickly blocked her twin kunais with a block from his scimitar as he widened his eyes.
She's gotten faster! he realized as Sakura chuckled and kicked upwards at him. Hisagi blocked it again with his blade, but he was still sent flying from the impact. He quickly landed on the swirling dark energy, surprising, since the dark energy was as solid as air. With a grunt, Hisagi muttered, "Lightning Style: Pale Strike." Immediately, a blast of pure lightning shot out of his fingertips, heading toward Sakura at the speed of lightning. Sakura, who continued her chuckling, took out something of her holster pouch and took out a small object and threw it in the air. The ball then exploded, as light emerged, overwhelming the whole room.

"What the heck?!" Nami asked in surprise as the light enveloped her and Senso. "It's Sakura," Senso muttered, his eyes closed shut. Happily, he said, "She's still alive."

Zara sat in the sandy desert, his eyes closed. He was meditating. After battling against the homicide-obsessed Tenso, he had used the Black Gate to enter here. The sun was up as usual, shining like a diamond. The wind blew harshly, as tracks of crusty sand were moved due to it. He remained silent, until he sensed someone near him. Zara slowly opened his eyes, careful to not let the flying sand into his eyelids.
"It's ready." Allon said. Zara had encountered Allon while traveling to the nearest Black Gate, and he had informed Allon about Matsumora's and Kaname's deaths. Allon did not react to heard of his comrades' death, just Zara had thought so.
Zara nodded and replied, "Go on."
"The self-destruct is ready to be deployed. Once done, the Black Gate will be destroyed, as well as the base, killing our opponents and witnesses in the midst." Allon explained. "And Lord Hisagi?" Zara asked.
"He has already been informed."

"Good" Zara muttered and stood up. He spun around, to glance at the human-sized cage that he had placed there earlier. A human, with bloody marks all over his body, was uncomfortably in the steel cage. It was Tenso. "Now then, we are to wake for Lord Hisagi, correct?"

At that moment, Hisagi appeared, unexpectedly. Keeping a cold feature, he glanced at Zara, Allon, and Tenso, each in turn. There was a small scratch on his cheek, halfway to beginning to bleed. His two Chinese scimitars were still well and strapped on his back. In one arm, he carried an unconscious Sakura by the back collar. "Gentlemen, it is time to depart." he announced and snapped as a Black Gate appeared behind him.

Allon formed a handsign as Zara bit his fingertip. Blood flowed out, and he formed handsigns as well. After a string of handsigns, Zara smiled and slammed his hand on the sand, as markings appeared, signalling of the self-destruct.

Then, with no reluctance, the pair hurried after Lord Hisagi, toward the Black Gate, as the countdown to destruction began, with only ten seconds.

Nui!
The voice was light, and bright, offering of a cheery day.
Hey, wake up!
This voice was deep, and was the voice of a warrior.

Nui Onimusha opened his eyes.

"Hi, Nui-kun!" Nami yelled happily, relived of his wakening.

"So you finally woken up." Senso muttered quietly.

~Over the days, Nui informed Senso and Nami of his reuniting with his father and Sakura Helga's disappearance. Unbelieving to give up, Senso searched for her for days, for the sake of Kato. Even though, they could not find her, and she was confirmed dead. On their last day in the Frozen Wasteland, Nui, Senso, and Nami visited Kato's grave. They soon departed for the Light Clan, and returned after a couple of days of traveling, bearing grim news. On the months and years to pass, Nui continued training, gradually increasing in strength. Nami trained as well, now more determined then ever to protect her loved one, and for Senso, his past happy personality was now gone, now replaced with a strict and melancholy characteristic, due to Kato's death. The three continued on the path of life, still guilty-ridden with the deaths of their comrades But what they did not know, was that Sakura Helga was alive, very alive.~

Chapter Forty-Nine: Re-Entry! Meeting of the Kages, Restart!

News~ Woot! We are finally done with Nui Gaiden, peeps! :D Anyways, this is the Second Part of the Second Arc, the Meeting of the Kages. We will immediately pick up after Chapter Twenty-Five.


~Recap~
On one night, Vatas Shadow Pridus, Nui Onimusha, Toshi Kurosaki, and Menrui Tatski invaded the Bird Clan, Nui battled against the Guard of the Clan, Kama Ikkaku, a Jashinist as Toshi fights against the Head Capturer, the Cager. After defeating their respective opponents, they advance toward the Airakage, the leader of the Bird Clan, as Vatas and his lazy comrade, Menrui, brawls against the Bird Clan Shinobi. As Nui and Toshi, having reunite with each other, are ambushed, a timid and young healer ninja named Hanataro Crane arrives, and therefore, serves as a distraction. Pitying him, they bring/ abduct him along as Vatas and Menrui arrives, just barely missing them. Meanwhiles, two mysterious ninjas arose in the spot of the unconscious Kama, and rescue him. After going through a long scale of enemies, Toshi and Nui arrives at the home of the Airakage, resulting in an intense fight, the Airakage's Kekkai Genkei, and Nui's special object. The Airakage is left captured, and "dead", at least to those who had not fully witness the fierce battle. Then, the remaining shinobi arrive, to avenge their leader, equaling dozens of enemies for our "heroes". However, they are all defeated, yet not killed, in one hit by Vatas, who had arrived. Soon followed a farewell, and the second Arc begins with the introduction of the Crossroads, and Senso Ukitaro, who seems to have a deep past with Nui. Senso then leads them underground, as someone attacks him.....


~Chapter Beginning~
The four remained on their guard, glancing around at every corner and inch of the area. Water from leaker pipes flowed around the area, only a few centimeters from the dirtied concrete. Rats and spiders skittered away swiftly, in an attempt to stay afar from the water.

"Dammit," Toshi muttered to herself, "I hate these moments." "Just watch carefully and we won't die." Vatas stated calmly, gripping his long katana, ready to wield it at any second. Nui remained silent for a moment, but then said, "Can you hear that?" Menrui nodded. "You mean those explosions?" "Hell yeah I can hear them," Toshi replied, "If this continues, we're all going to be buried in the Underground."

"We have an estimated three days left until the operation will occur," Sakura observed, "So you'd better wrap this up." She stood on fresh green grass and was leaning on a heavy olive tree that supported her, as well as its thick branches. Other olives trees were all around her, each of them thick and healthy.
Sakura Helga was in a forest, an ancient one that had existed for many decades. Beyond that forest were the Crossroads. Even from here, about over ten kilometers away in distance, she could still spot the large skyscrapers and buildings of the Crossroads.
Her hair were wrapped and kept in a knot by a ribbon. Sakura wore a long black coat, with bright blue flames decorated on the collars, sleeves, and the bottom of the cloak. The cloak had a hood as well, but it was not put on yet. A radio was on Sakura's left ear. The radio was made for portable uses, able to communicate up to ten kilometers, and fitted her ear perfectly. A wire connected the radio to other ear, which contained the exact portable.

"Make sure you plant the detonators around the area." Sakura finished, "Over and out."

"Over and out." the man replied. The man was of medium height, and wore a dark green coat that extending to beneath his waist, with a hood that covered his face with the exception of a long thread of shaggy long hair and two piercing eyes. A long unsheathed blade hung on his back, brightly crimson. There were two scrolls attached to his back, hung next to his weapon. Three holster pouches were sewn in to his coat, containing many tools and weapons.
The man then glanced behind him, at the pair of the dead ninja, laying in pools of blood, with numerous wounds delivered by taijutsu. He then took a look ahead, at the continuing dark walls, dirty concrete, and dimly heard explosions in the distance.
"So I see." the man finally muttered to himself, and continued advancing silently.

Allon Tosen was back.

Explosions slowly rocked the whole Underground, as Vatas and the group continued their defensive positions. "Ugh, I hate waiting." Toshi muttered. Menrui, however, was beginning to fall into a slumber. He yawned a few times, and then slowly closed his eyes. Before anyone could do anything, Menrui fully closed his eyes and begin to drool. He quickly leaned over to the left side, where Toshi were. As he fell on Toshi's shoulder, he begin to snore loudly, as saliva formed, and drool came out, splashing on Toshi's shoulder. "Eww!" Toshi screeched and pulled back, as Menrui fully collapsed to the dirty concrete floor. Quickly reacting in anger, Toshi stomped Menrui's head into the floor with his shoe as a voice came up:

"Yo!"

Vatas glanced over to look for the source, as Nui followed suit. Toshi turned her attention to the source as well, ignoring the snoring Menrui, who was laying in a puddle of water.
"Yo," the man said once again and grinned brightly, revealing himself as Senso Ukitaro. Senso was standing ten yards ahead of them, bearing no injury and gripping his lance in his hands.
"The intruder's dead." Then came a long silence, until Vatas finally spoke: "Who was it?" he asked. Meanwhile, Nui remained silent, gazing at Senso with a strange look in his eyes. Senso offered a shrug. "Some enemy ninja who had a grudge against the Crossroads, anyways, let's go."
Vatas said nothing, and took a step forward. Before he could fully advance, he felt someone place a hand on him from behind. He quickly turned, using his instincts and saw that it was Nui. Immediately, he realized what Nui meant. He glanced back at Senso, and then at Menrui. Seeing Toshi vacant, he urgently spun around, and saw Toshi running toward Senso hurriedly.

"Toshi, no!!" Nui yelled as Toshi looked back at him with a confused look on her face, now standing within mere inches of Senso. Vatas quickly broke into a mad dash, as if someone's life depended on it.

And unfortunately, that was true as well, as Nui saw Senso's grin drastically transform into a wicked one, as Nui's thought came to a confirmation, as Senso quickly grasped his lance, and skewered Toshi.

Instantly, blood spilled like a shower; Senso laughed hysterically and grinned evilly as he murmured the words, "Long time no see, little boy."

Nui Onimusha glared darkly. "It's you, isn't it, Tenso Ukitaro?"

Chapter Fifty: The Bloody Gemini


News~ It is our fiftieth chapter, thus our fiftieth anniversary! ^^ Unfortunately, the party will officially kick off tomorrow, not today, with more than one chapter on Friday AND Saturday! And what better way to start it off with a complete psychopath with an unbearable lust for killing? xDDD


Dark-red blood splashed everywhere, flowing into the water on the concrete and mixing along. Without a sound, Toshi collapsed, a small and narrow hole on her shoulder. "Whoops, I missed." Tenso said, grinning evilly as he saw Vatas catch the falling Toshi in his arms.
Before Tenso could attack, Vatas quickly closed his eyes, as he suddenly vanished, along with the unconscious Toshi. The disappearance of Vatas followed with a loud static noise, which put a dent on everyone's ears for a moment.
Vatas reappeared again, this time behind Nui. He was standing on both legs, but was leaning down, due to carrying Toshi in his arms. "Ooh, a Jinsoku Raikou (Swift Lightning), eh?" Tenso observed and swept his weapon at the air as Toshi's blood flew out, dispersing into the floor. Vatas remained silent. Finally, he spoke: "Nui, leave this man to me," Nui glanced at him in shock, for he had never said anything so irrational before. "I know that you have history with him, and that you are stronger than I am, but right now, Toshi needs you. Go elsewhere and heal her wounds." Nui remained silent for a moment, however, Tenso quickly took advantage of the situation and began to form handsigns. Alerted, Vatas and Nui both leaped back swiftly, as Vatas said, "Nui, go!" Nui sighed. He slowly bent down and took Toshi from Vatas and replied, "I am counting on you, Vatas Shadow Pridus. If you die, I will blame the cause of your death as mine." Vatas smirked. "Always the one to be noble."
Nui offered a small smile as he said, "Generally." His eyes gazed off at the Tenso, who continued to form handsigns. "Jinsoku Raikou." he murmured and disappeared, leaving behind a static sound that rang in Vatas's ears. Meanwhile, Vatas's smile vanished off his face, replaced with a small snarl as he witnessed Tenso yell, "Fire Style: Glorious Flame Fist!" Tenso then quickly recoiled his arm, pulling it back and tightened his knuckles. Then, he punched the air, as a large bright fireball appeared, enormous. Senso then formed another handsign, and said, "Fire Style: Oil Spray!" The oil splashed onto the water, prevailing over it and gaining control as the fireball swiftly advanced toward Vatas. The fireball quickly went through the air, as Vatas formed a handsign and muttered, "Earth Style: Earth Wall."
Instantly, the concrete shifted, as a wall of earth were formed over Vatas. The large fireball created from Tenso's fist smashed head-on into the earth wall, as chunks of earth were destroyed. Vatas quickly skittered, retreating from the falling pieces of earth. He watched as the fire continued to glow on the remaining pieces of the wall that was above the water. It continued burner, even though it had used up most of its power, Vatas calmly observed as he saw Tenso, standing in the exact location a few moments ago, grinned broadly and vanished. What followed up was a static noise, as Tenso appeared before Vatas and elbowed him for behind. Coughing form the impact, Vatas was sent flying.

However, he quickly took control, and formed a handsign, yelling, "Lightning Style: Twin Lightning!" Instantly, two lightning bolts shot out of his hands, both equally same in size, as well as speed. The lightning bolts sped toward Tenso, who went on his knees and ungracefully yet effective rolled over, dodging each other bolts as they instead struck the concrete and dispersed into small shocks of lightning. Tenso remained grinning, but then he felt an odd sensation within him. Tenso immediately collapsed, his knees and hands splashing into the water, used to support him. He then realized what had happened, when he saw the small discharges of lightning in the water. "You.."

"Yes. I knew you would be too swift for me to actually catch you with my thunderbolts, so I aimed them in the water near you, where they would release a discharge in impact and shock you, immobilizing you as well." Vatas observed. "You damn kid." Tenso muttered, grinning even though he was in a grim situation.
Vatas then unsheathed his blade, and said, "Now, good bye." Tenso grinned. "Such reckless words of a little boy." He then grinned as Vatas realized he had miscalculated. He glanced back, and saw the fire from Tenso's jutsu, sitting on the oil.
The fire quickly spread, consuming both the sewer waters and its discharged electricity. Before Vatas could realize further, the electricity around Tenso died, sucked in with the sewers' water, as he stood up. Reaching into his holster pouch and scorching the papery part with a matcher, he threw the small kunai, attached with a burned paper bomb, at the large mass of burning flames.

His aim was dead-on.

Chapter Fifty-One: The Discussion


News~ Due to some things, our celebration plan didn't came out as planned. Unfortunately, there will only be one chapter today, unless I manage to somehow pull off a miracle.


"Have they arrived yet?" asked the elderly man. "Not yet, sir." the messenger replied simply. The old man sat in a lone wooden chair. The chair was placed in the center of a large room, that was circular, as well as twenty yards in diameter. The walls were painted brightly red, with heads of beasts and woodland animals mounted on. An orange silk carpet led from the way of the giant doors, which were fifteen feet in length and were made in solid gold, and to a long table. The table was made out of cleanly olive wood. The table was hexagonal, made in a hexagon position with twists and turns. Fourteen chairs were placed near it, all occupied by powerful shinobi. The lone and dull wooden chair occupied by the elder was placed beyond them, and was on a higher platform.

The messenger couched before all twelve men and the elder, his head down in a bowing position for respect. "However, there has been a series of explosions set off, in the Underground." "Humph." the old man murmured as he glanced up.
Elderly and wise, he was bald, having a cleanly shaved head that humorously reflected in the light above them, kept lit by expensive chandeliers. The old man was dressed in a black kimono, covered with a white coat. The coat was ancient, and had been passed down from generation to generation. Words written in Japanese were on the coat, having been rumored to contain mystical powers hidden in them.
Five broadswords were hung on the walls behind him, followed with a large shield and mace. To the elderly man's left were a large bookcase, filled to the brink with ten thousands, if not hundred thousands of ancient books. To his right was a single wooden door, with a golden doorknob. Other than the front gigantic doors at the front, this was the only other door, which was kept locked because of mysterious circumstances.

"It may be rogue shinobi, or our enemies in the north." said the long black-haired man with a Chinese accent, who sat to the west-north section of the hexagonal table. The chair which he sat on was carved with the roman numerical "VII".

"Nah, it's probably some weak intruders, so we shouldn't worry about it. Let the guards handle it." a messy-brown hair man muttered, his droopy eyes halfway closed from exhaustion. His chair had the roman numerical "X".

"He may be right, but then again.." a spiky yet long blond-haired woman observed, "The damage done is on too big of a scale, even numerous paper bombs placed at critical areas around the Underground. It wouldn't be our enemies in the north, the Glaciers Yakuza, nor rogue shinobi. This may be the work of....THEM." Her chair had the roman numerical "III".

"You mean those weaklings?" a spiky crimson man with narrowed eyes that spoke of a lust for homicide.

"Do not underestimate them," the long and spiky blonde stated. "The Order of the Illuminus Alliance are formidable enemies." The spiky crimson man frowned slightly. "You sound as if you're afraid of them. Don't get your panties in a twist." Thus followed a moment of glaring between the two, as an uncomfortable aura of silence arose. The messenger glanced at them, still in his crouching position, nervously.

Finally, someone broke the silence: "Let me go, sir." The elderly man glanced up and replied, "Humph?"

It was a man who sat on the chair with the roman numerical "IV". He had a large amount of elbow-length black hair, spiked up everywhere, and accompanied with broad shoulders and a slender body. The man had high cheek bones and bid, bright eyes with the alternative colors of black, orange, grey, and blue. He had lines that traveled from his bottom eyes to his bottom jaw. He wore a regular white robe that was knee length that did not have sleeves. It was worn over by a luscious blood red cape, having sleeves and went to ankle length. "Again, I repeat: I would like to go to the Underground to track down the possible intruders, sir." "You are sure, Sage?" the elder simply asked.
"Yes, I am confident of my decision, Sir Yamamoto Kashikoi Naito Musha."

Yamamoto offered a nod. "Very well. You have ten minutes to prepare."

Sage nodded. "Yes sir."

Allon, who firmly gripped a black marker, wrote on the walls of the Underground. The words could not be seen to the normal eye, as there were few who could see, much less understand it. The words spoke of dark and twisted things, of destruction and death.

Allon had already finished more than two-thirds of his writing, and following this, he faithfully continued on his mission, for he knew the outcome if he succeeded, and it pleased him.

Meanwhile, he could continue to hear explosions, as well as yells and the sound of blades clashing against one another. Seems like Tenso Ukitaro is still distracting them..

"Hold it." Senso muttered, gripping his lance as it pointed in Allon's direction, the sharp tip pecking at his neck.

"I hereby arrest you in the law of the Crossroads." Senso said.

Chapter Fifty-Two: Vatas Shadow Pridus VS Tenso Ukitaro


News~ Here is the second chapter to be released on Friday! Fortunately, I had enough time to start on this.


"Turn around slowly," Senso ordered, gripping his lance. "Or you will die." Allon made no sound nor any resistance, slowly turning around. "Take off your hood," Senso said. "Slowly."
Silently, Allon lifted his right hand, and tugged his hood off. Allon had black shaggy hair; his eyes were lit bright, both in a different color, green and silver. He had low cheekbones, and wore a cool neutral expression. Senso widened his eyes in shock. "It's you!" he yelled in astonishment.

Allon replied, "Long time no see, Senso Ukitaro."

He immediately dropped the black marker. The black marker smashed into the concrete with a dull thud, as somehow, paper shot out everywhere. The black marker had been made out of those dozen pieces of paper. Senso widened his eyes once again, as his eyes narrowed. "Paper bombs?!"
Allon grinned. "Correct."

Tenso, continually crackled as he sidestepped to the right as Vatas's long katana stabbed through the air where he was. With a spin of his blade, Vatas sent the sickle chained to his katana at Tenso. The sickle shimmered in the light emitted from the enormous hole made from the earlier explosion. Tenso quickly ducked, as the sickle passed his head, cutting off half a centimeter of his red spiky hair. He quickly leaped back as Vatas swung his katana low in an attempt to slash at his legs. As Tenso jumped back, in midair, formed a handsign and mumbled, "Fire Style: Exploding Flame Orb!" Immediately, fire suddenly dispersed from out of nowhere, gathering around Tenso's outstretched hand and forming into a small sphere. After a couple of seconds, the flame orb was completed and with a wicked grin on his face, tossed the ball at Vatas, who quickly took countering strategy by forming several handsigns.
As the fiery fire orb rolled toward Vatas, steadily ticking, signally of when it will explode, dispersing its perilous flames.
Quickly realizing what it was, Vatas skittered back and immediately started stringing handsigns together, as the orb ticked loudly, signalling of its detonator. With less than three seconds left on the clock, he continued his handsigns, speedily. Just with one second left, Vatas stopped and murmured, "Darkness Style: Dome of Dusk!" Following that, shadows instantly lingered. Vatas's own shadow moved, raising up along with the shadows near it. The shadows had completed two-thirds of the darkness dome when the flaming orb counting to a zero, and exploded with a bang.

Smoke hung everywhere, slowly drifting into the large hole which had been made earlier. Laughing like a psychopath, Tenso stood in the midst of the destruction. He had quickly retreated when the fire orb had started its countdown, and way soon out of its range. Tenso gazed at where Vatas stood, waiting for the smoke to vanish, to see if his opponent was dead or not--

Tenso felt a blade against his neck. It was cold, and seemed familiar. He glanced behind him, slowly, and saw Vatas standing before him, in a higher platform as the sound of rushing water from the damaged pipes continued to flow around them. Vatas had survived the explosion, but not on good terms. He was still alive, but half of his clothes had been obliterated, burned in the explosion. The bottom of his black robe had been completely burned away, exposing his slightly sprained ankles. Vatas's left arm was also slightly scorched, as smoke hung from it. The sleeves of his left arm was gone as well. His mask had been almost completely destroyed, as only the upper right section of it was on him, covering his pitch black eyes. "Time to die, Tenso Ukitaro, like you should have, twelve years ago."
Tenso offered a broad smirk as Vatas coldy swung his long katana at Tenso's neck in an attempt to behead him.

Jinsoku Raikou (Swift Lightning), Tenso thought and disappeared, leaving behind a static sound. Vatas's blade sung through the air where Tenso's head had once occupied. Tenso then reappeared behind Vatas, who quickly realized it and swung his blade back, allowing the sickle to fly back as well. However, the sickle never made it. Barely saving himself from an injury, Tenso, who had only one nano-second left, formed a handsign. Fire Style: Kick of Flames!

He brought his leg up and kicked Vatas broadly, from head to knee, as Vatas was sent flying as burns appeared on his skin. His katana was sent flying as well, which flew out of his hand. The sickle, now within less than half a centimeter from Tenso's stomach, flew along with the katana, due to the chains which connected the two.
Vatas crash-landed into a chunk of the ceiling of the Underground that had been destroyed when Tenso had earlier used his oil/fire technique. He smashed through the huge piece of concrete, and finally slid to a stop on the moist floor, barely conscious. Tenso, wearing his smirk, slowly made his way to Vatas. "You are strong, boy--

~During the First Explosion Set Off~

As the fire sped toward the oil, that had conquered the water, Vatas grunted. He's planing a suicidal death?! He then glanced at Tenso, who was seemingly vacant. Continually taking in his surroundings, Vatas glanced around him, and finally found his target: there was a small hole in the ground, freshly dug. He used an Earth Style technique! Vatas realized. I don't have Earth Techniques to hide deep within the earth, nor Water Techniques to douse the flames, so..! He then gazed as the paper bomb made its way into the flames. I have to stop it!

Vatas closed his eyes, realizing that he had less than a nano-second to stop it from reaching the fiery fire, which he couldn't by normal means. Concentrating as hard as he could, he only thought of the priority of stopping the paper bomb. And he disappeared. It all happened in less than a distance. To the normal eye, it seemed as if the boy had suddenly vanished, along with the flying paper bomb. In truth, Vatas was moving at the speed of light, even if only for a little. He knew there was a limit on doing this, and if he overcame if, he would certainly die. Yet he continued, and grasped the paper bomb, and threw it elsewhere, aimed at Tenso's hole.

However, something else had happened, as the fires, now some reaching up to the height of the tall ceiling, touched the ceiling dimly. One part the flames touched, however, had a paper bomb on it, one that the flames had touched.

And another explosion was set off.

~Present Time~

"--You have poor reactions." Tenso finished and stabbed his lance into Vatas's stomach. Vatas grunted in pain, yet did not scream in agony, as blood shot out and splashing into the wet concrete. "Now, I am going to play with ya." Tenso said and grinned a wicked as well as disturbing smile. "My, my you surely have a strong will." Tenso murmured and skewered Vatas in the legs with his lance. Vatas continued glaring, although he was in great pain.
"You are very powerful, and skilled, to have been able to use Jinsoku Raikou (Swift Lightning) at such a young age." Tenso muttered and lifted his lance up, now dripping with blood. He brought the lance down and skewered both of Vatas's shoulders, as the young preteen finally yelled in pain. "Say, have you known the bes to kill someone if through the head? If you stab them anywhere in the lower body, they could still survive. A stab through the chest or heart could still survive. But in the head, without regeneration or revival, a person could never survive." Tenso brought his lance down, as someone appeared.

"Yo," Menrui muttered, "Could you keep the noise down please?"
