Hey, what could go wrong putting in the American military as advisory capacity to a hopeless endless war.
I am sure JFK knows what he is doing in helping the French in Indochina.
Wait...

Of course there are the people on Yahoo who say
"Uganda is in trouble! We need to save them."
Well then guess they must approve of the war in Iraq.
Weapons of Mass Destruction or not Saddam Hussein
was a TERRIBLE man. But apparently few people cared
about the mustard gas genocides against the Kurdish.
Wonder what is so different about Uganda or Libya
that makes them so much worthier about being "saved"?

What about Syria? That could actually have beneficial effects. >.>

100's of countries are in need of "Saving".
Speaking as someone who's actually been to countries like that and seen it firsthand.
But we have people in our own country starving, homeless rates through the roof, crime rates up. You need to take care of your own people, especially knowing we're teetering on the brink of becoming one of those par war-strifed countries.
UN or not, we always seem to be the only country to do anything about it. So what's the point of the other nations that only send a handful of troops and some supplies to benefit these "wars of peace"?

But didn't you once say we needed to stay in Iraq to help the people there?

When we already have our foot in there and people dependant on our continued presence, it's different. For that matter, I only meant until the security forces there could take care of their own country.
At this point we should be out. Unfortunately picking up 100,000+ troops and leaving in a short span of time, isn't an easy task. There's equipment to be accounted for, payment issues, etc.

True enough, but couldn't we just left the Bathaist in charge and said no more terrorism or we'll be back. We could have even had Ahhnold say it.

Surely they'd listen to the Governator.
Too bad wars can't be settled by single men battling like in Roman times. I'd put Arnold up against any of their guys.

IMO the U.N might as well be dismantled.
It's kind of a pointless organization when
some of the worst countries are UN members.
