Unreleased Yammy is not that impressive compared to Blackbeard that is quite obvious.

Unless of course you want to invoke Yammy's gonzui and argue that it will suck out Blackbeard's soul before he does anything. Then again anyone with a little spiritual power can resist it to the point of exhaustion, just like what occured with Tatsuki.

Thats different. Byakuya and kenpachi are already a soul, so yammy cant suck a soul out of another soul. But BB is still a living entity and he didn't have any kind of soul-base power. Yammy would just suck BB soul out as soon as the battle begins.

They will do whatever it takes to kill each other. The easiest and the fastest way to kill a living being is by soul sucks, so i dont see why yammy won't use it.

One piece character doesn't have any spiritual energy. All there Haki, Devil fruits, and Rokushiki are generated by physical energy. They have no soul-base defense, the only one that might have any spiritual power is Moria.

Soul suck is the simplest way to kill an opponent, i see no reason why yammy wouldnt use it when they are bloodlust by default. Plus unlike the other espadas, yammy don't like to take his time in battle.

Insofar as fighting Whitebeard is unimpressive. Either way, not showing any impressive speed feats > Not showing any speed feats whatsoever. Yammy's not exactly gonna be blitzing anyone now is he.

It is a rule that if the OP didnt speicify whether it is blood lust or not then it became bloodlust by default. Soul suck is the easiest way to kill an opponent. Anyone who want to win and have a IQ higher than 10 would use soul suck right off the bat.As i said before yammy isnt the kind of people that like to take his time and mess around with his opponent, he wouldnt hestitate to attack first via soul suck.

But all hope is not lost. As you are the thread creator, you can change the rules and say that Yammy starts off using Gonzui. Of course, then you would just be admitted that you're wrong and you would be changing the rules because you don't want Yammy to lose, but I wouldn't worry. You've got so little credibility that losing a bit more won't hurt you.

Any one with a brain would use gonzui due to how hax it is. Yammy might not start off with gonzui but after BB start to overpower he would definely use it.

Right. OPverse doesnt have the same kind of energy source as Bleach,Naruto and DBZ. The reiryoku,chakra and ki are fluidic.
They can be move around the body; accumulate in a specific body part or channel into a weapon and can be mold in various shapes.

When Ichigo shoot getsuga tensho he channel his reiryoku into the zangetsu.
When Naruto use rasengan he accumulated his chakra his his palm and mold it into a spinning sphere.
When Vegito use spirit sword he shaped his ki into a blade.
You definely cant do that with Haki. BB doesnt even have Haki.
