My initial opinion, is that this is a complete Sasuke stomps Naruto into Dattebayo Dust. Other than Shisui's eye in the crow, Naruto is gonna get genjutsu'd into utter cunfision. Regardless of whether this is MS or EMS Sasuke, Naruto can't defend against either, let alone make a suitable offense effort. At that time Naruto doesn't even have anything that can go two to two with Susanoo. Though in good faith, and the means to end the battle fast. Sasuke could simply get close enough to employ his Amaterasu to the often caught off guard Naruto. That there might be signed by GG himself.

Not a good versus selection! ^^

That's sort of a knit pick, isn't it?

My point was, it doesn't really matter what Sasuke uses. Naruto can't compete on even footing with Sasuke before his Sage Mode training and beyond.

However, just to retort on your example. It's arguable that Naruto might have been able to do something to protect himself against Sasuke's blade(assuming you're referring to the confrontation at one of Orochimaru's hide outs.) It may not prove to be a good argument, but Naruto had enough time to converse with Sasuke while "cheek to cheek," he might have been able to defend.

Now! In this situation, as the OP fails to dictate. There's no indication of whether or not Naruto is going to be stunned by seeing Sasuke for the first time in years(like at the hide out.) Ergo, Naruto just may be a bit more aware. Less willing to let Sasuke have that much of an early jump on him. Though, you could probably argue that Naruto 'trying' to avoid in his clumsy fashion could open him up to a consecutive attack from the much faster Sasuke. However you slice it, this wouldn't be an interesting match.

Naruto wouldn't even have the time to make shadow clones. Sasuke could easily rape Naruto without the Sharingan, MS, or the EMS.

At the time the only improvements Naruto had was oodama rasengan, a close range rasenshuriken, and 3 tailed kyuubi. But he lacked too much speed.
