As I stepped into the stadium's field, I noticed the distance audience. The sunlight was overtaken an overcast, which could become rain at any moment. I looked toward the official who nodded toward the white box near the battle area. Upon stepping into the box, the sound of gears began to crank. I rose about 10 feet from the ground until the platform abruptly stopped. Across the field was my opponent, who didn't look any older than a young whippersnapper out of school.

As a force of habit, I reached behind my belt to grasp my first pokeball. Once I pushed the button in the center, I flinged it up in an arch over the field until it reached the southern end of the center. Once it opened, a flash of blinding light enveloped the area briefly. Once it dissipated, an insect like beast appeared. It was standing on four legs, but it's upper torso was upright. It's long gangly arms had two menacing hooks at their end. I said, " Alright Drapion, let's go"! Yea, I'm not very creative on the fly. I just say what was on my mind at the moment.

Now I waited to see what my opponent had in store for me.

"Snorlax, I choose you!" Snorlax comes out of the pokeball. "I know you can win, just do your best!" Snorlax growls. "Snorlax, I want you to start off with a Mega punch to its under belly then try to use headbutt and aim for its neck." Snorlax attempted it to do so, "Snorlax now stand in a defensive position." Snorlax had its arms crossed and waited for the attack.

What appears from my opponent's pokeball is a lumbering giant known as Snorlax. When I was younger, I wondered how fast something with this kind of girth could muster and to my surprise, it can move well. It's fist begins to store energy, which is indicated by the faint glow emanating from it. So I said, " Drapion, Send a crisscrowd pin missile towards snorlax"! Drapion's pincers glowed immediately after, sending a a stream of intertwined missiles towards snorlax. Should the lumbering giant continue on it's path, it will be engulfed in a stream of flying spikes. Afterwards I gave out another command, " After that, ready your cross poison and prepare to catch snorlax if it dives towards you".
