It is really funny, sad, and random. It is mostly funny and random. Every ep has its laughs. It is about a samruai, Sakata Gintoki who lives in Edo. Their planet is taken over by the Amanto(kinda like aliens). He used to be in the Joi War, and he had comrades to fight with against the invasion. But lost. So now he just lives as an ordinary person. His work is called "Odd Jobs." So he basically does anything the client wants and gets paid. He later is joined by Shimura Shinpachi and Kagura. Shinpachi and his sister ownes a dojo, their father died and gave it to them. Shinpachi is a really funny guy, tries to be serious(good comec relief character), has the most sense of the three. Kagura also is an Anamto, but their kind look like humans. But the distinction is their white skin, and umbrellas. Because the don't like the sun. They have superhuman strength. She loves rice and eats alot. With Gintoki, Shinpachi, and Kagura, the three work together trying to pay off their rent. Its funny how they live above a snack shop owned by Otose, who keeps nagging them about paying off the rent. They always are into some random business and have random asventures. The other characters and enemies are just hilarious.... I really laughed my butt off when I watched it. There is also manga.
