Please state your opinions on the whereabouts of the following characters
(deceased, in village, or missing-nin):
The first hokage's son or tsunade's father
Asuma's brother or konohamaru's father (logic tells us he is alive but konohamaru was in the 3rd's care)
The 4th hokage's teamates while he was being trained by Jiraiya

Konohamaru's father died in the last Ninja War. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Well sofar noone has a clue about the 4ths teammates.Even their names are unknown.
And Rin..
Kakashi said he couldnt save her..no idea what that means but possibly she died.

Rin went to the DarkSide. And we havent seen the last of her. She's the only girl Kakashi ever loved, and will definitely play apart in the story before the end.
At least, in theory.

As for the 4th's teammates, they were never really a factor. Minato's best training, and the majority of his prowess, came from lone training sessions with Jiraiya.

I thought she was dead mainly because of the way Kakashi referred to her among his dead comrades when he died during the Pain arc.

You give a lot of reasonable theories, you know? And most of them, like this one, has its points.

Possibly will be explained later today
Yes, died in the 3rd Ninja war
Girl is Possibly Anko, boy maybe relative to Iruka, who in turn his father died in the 9tails attack
when kakashi said lost, he mightve meant like 'Sasuke' lost, like she might have gone emo too, or she couldve died in the 3rd ninja war too... No proof though.
When next kakashi appears! WE SHALL KNOW!!!!

I thought she loved Kakashi, but Kakashi was rather ambivalent towards her, and Obito was in love with her instead, or did I miss something?

no thats right and what about kakashi`s mother or the 3rd hokage`s wife?
apparently according to kakashi, he couldn`t protect her, so i guess we assume that she`s dead
and there`s a big difference between rin and yugito uzuki.
As for the other ones listed, i don`t know.

There are a lot of wives and mothers missing from the story line, it's like disney all over again.
