I liked Subbed cause when you hear them talk in English it sounds boring, but when you hear them talk Japanese they sound more interesting in the show. My favorite characters that talk Subbed are Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, Kakashi, Pain, Madara, Minato, and Gaara.

Naruto should be airing only in Japanese.
Gaara voice, Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Sakura, Itachi, Orochimaru, Tobi, Deidara, Hiruko(Sasori puppet), Pain, Zetsu, Kisame all of these voices are COOL!
They sound so realistic.
Subbed anime are the best!

Each one has something good or bad about them.
Subbed = more violence and less edits
Dubbed = in English but tons of edits.

Japanese people are giving they emotion to they characters.
Just look on Sasuke. The way that He talk is so realistic.
Noriaki Sugiyama(Sasuke in Naruto anime) is great voice actor.

well, I don't mind watching it subbed, but unlike most people I enjoy the English dub more also since it's in my own language and I think the English voice crew for Naruto does a pretty good job o_o so I watch it when it's first out in subbed then again when it's dubbed. So it doesn't really matter to me that much

I like the subs because of no editing and better voices but I do get sick of reading everything so I also like the dub.
It's a tie for me.

I like the sub more, the english voices kind of bug me.

I prefer both. When I want to watch a movie that isn't out in dub, I watch the sub since I'm used to both. Any episodes that aren't out in dub I watch them subbed. Other than that I mainly watch the dub version. I'm more used to it and I think the voices match them perfectly.

dubbed i honestly dont understand why some people are always complaining about the edits in the dubs when they do have UNCUT dvds and episodes out..... its just disney xd that edits out all the blood and stuff.... plus dubbed voices are much better (Sasuke, Itatchi, Kakashi, Guy, Lee, Gamatatsu, Gamakichi.... i dont even know why im listing the characters cause the list will just go on of the dub voices that and better than the subs....) imo and plus you can feel what the character is saying better when you hear them in your own language reading subs doesnt really give me that feel.... its kind of just like im reading the manga with moving pictures :/

I kinda like both, dubbed i watch when i multi-task so i can pick up the important stuff. Some anime like deathnote i actually enjoy the dubbed voices more so y'know
But for naruto i like the subbed voices better and they seem closer to the real thing imo

Depends on the dubbing language, English dubbing sucks, also spanish, the best dubbed language (except for japanese) is german.

I have to vote for subbed because the Japanese voice actors actually have feeling in their voice when they record for the show.
And as for the dub... I think it's just terrible, it's like they're just reading lines and not even trying to act. I was embarrassed to watch this on Cartoon Network several years ago because I had to keep watching Naruto run around going "BELIEVE IT!" every five minutes. So I stopped watching after about 6 or 7 episodes. And then I started watching it again, but this time in Japanese with subs.

Dubbed. Clearly contrary to many of the people on this thread, I prefer the English voices. I think too many of the men's voices in the Japanese version sound the same: really deep. And I like not having to look at the computer every single second to know what they're saying.
That being being said, I still like the subs. I've seen nearly all the episodes in subs, since they're a lot further ahead than the dubs (obviously), and I don't MIND the voices. I also like how I've learned some Japanese from watching them. b:P
Also, the super, super-edited versions of the Dubs, like for Cartoon Network and Disney XD, really suck, because the extreme lack of blood, violence, and swearing are not realistic for a show like Naruto. I much prefer watching the uncut episodes.

It all depends on the Anime im watching, for example:
Deathnote
Code Geass
Bleach
FMA
i can Dig dubs for that, but shows with horrible voice actors i have to watch subbed.

I do not mind either, however! I do find it much easier to follow Dubbed as it is in English and then I do not have to take my eyes off of the pictures to read what they are talking about. I don't mind subbed though as it allows me to watch Naruto more frequently then have to wait for Dubbed episodes.

Subbed BAKA subbed! I like to stick to the original voices. The characters just seem to have more personality in Japanese. All the funny moments in Japanese make me laugh so much more than the English dub versions. Oh and the "bad guys" sound dreamier with the Japanese actors. Subbed all the way! b:P

Thats why we got to have more patience Raikage! Patience is the best medicine! Thats why good things come to those who wait! Ive done it throughout this whole Naruto journey, since Sept. 2005. Plus, there was that long gap between, the end of Naruto series 1 and the beginning of Shippuden. Back in 2009 between, January and the end of July practically. So, if Ive been able to endure all the waiting that they put us through, then youre capable of doing it too!`!:)

I'm not a fan of subbed. I prefer dubbed because, I just feel simply embarass everytime I watching the japanese dub while, my parents or friends walk in my room. Most of the time they would mimick the voices and would always compare it to Alvin and the Chimpmunks. Also, I don't like reading sub-titles while trying to focus on the screen.

Subbed will be better. I like things in the original way. Actually I think the voice actors / actresses in Japan are very proffesional and do perfect job. Another reason is because all the story are in Japanese culture, so the native actor could get best understanding of the inner thing of the anime and could find more right emmotion during dubbing.
So I prefer the subbed one.

As much as I like dubs, I prefer watching Naruto in subs:
It has less edits then Dubbed
The voices fit the characters more.
I get to watch them sooner.
I learn new words in Japanese.

Gotta go with subbed.
Jutsus simply sound better in Japanese tone.
And sort of silly in English.

Yeah, Japanese for sure.
