View Full Version : Stupidity and tv
So why the h*ll is it that whenever someone does stupid and blame it on tv,the tv show, company, whatever gets blamed and not the idiot who did it or the idiots that let it happen?Seriously, people should have enough common sense to know not to do that kind of stuff and they should be telling that to their kids who don't know any better. There's also the whole tv ratings thing and the fact that some shows even say do not try this at home, yet some morons still do it anyway. If anything, the idiot(s) that did it/let it happen are the ones at fault.

Because if I choose to be stupid it's my problem and TMZ should mind their business.

When you're a public figure, indorsed by companies and commercials, it's that much more interesting when you screw up.

This is the smartest thing you have ever said NBT,but we all know that it's more profitable to possibly to sue the company rather than the individual.

Happens to every form of entertainment, from music to video games to films and radio.
Like as Forgotten said, the incident to blame wasn't on the anime, it was on the parents. They should have been responsible enough to prevent the kid from watching teen rated shows, not to mention watching him.
Same happened during the '80s-'90s, when N.W.A., when the group was pretty much blamed for every violence-related act in the US.
Or during the Columbine shooting, which media and parents blamed musicians like Eminem and Marilyn, as well as video games like DOOM and Wolfenstein.
