Supernatural: The Anime Series is out in stores

Ok so I'm walking around at Target. I get to the movies and I see Supernatural: The Anime Series. My first thought was what the, an American live action TV show turned into an Anime. That is strange, isn't it suppose to be the other way around. My second thought was I have to get this. I'm a fan of Supernatural and was looking forward to seeing how they do in Anime. I didn't get too far into it yet but so far I like. They do some of the same stories that is in the live action but do some new ones as well. The characters in the Anime are like the ones in the live action TV show so that is good.

What are your thoughts on this?

I'm definitely going to look for this. Supernatural is my favorite non-anime show. Seeing the Winchesters kicking supernatural butt in anime style is just going to make it all the sweeter.

i read elsewhere it will be back in September and the fact that we actually got the anime in the us is big news and proof the series is popular

I've thought about watching this, but I read it was the exact same as the show, just in anime form.

I've been watching the series online and I'm actually really surprised at how well it turned out, the first like 3 or 4 episodes are all based off of episodes from the series but I heard it starts to deviate afterwards. I'm only 3 episodes in but i am thrilled that Jared lent is voice for the series, kinda bummed that Jensen didn't, but the guy they've got voicing Dean sounds pretty close. And the blood, oh the blood, they sure didn't skimp out on the gore!

watch it online, it's really that good. If you liked the original series and you happen to like anime then it's perfect.
