i highly doubt Mifune winning this.. even if he did fight Hanzo and lived... Kakuzu has too many overpowering moves that i doubt Mifune can take or even dodge. his hearts even make thinks worse

Mifune's fast enough where one can't even make a handsign. His chakra enhanced sword should theoretically be able to cut through Kakuzu's threads IMO.

Kakuzu is wide open if he tries to take out his hearts. This leaves ample time for Mifune to cut his head off.

Also on top of that, in theory quick draw should be enough to get the win, since kakuzu couldnt react to the izumo and kotetsu in his most recent appearence. Speaking of, kakuzu is pretty lacking in reaction feats.

Who are you implying that would appear behind the other?

If Mifune takes out a heart, Kakuzu should be staggered. After all, he grimaced and stood there defenseless when Kakashi took out a heart. Then he was just pushed to the ground. What would he do from the ground? Kick Mifune away like he did to Kakashi? This would just restart the battle, but giving Mifune knowledge that Kakuzu has multiple hearts.

I meant it to mean that he starts with it in. I'll make it clearer in the OP.

Kakuzu's shown to use a limited Iron Skin without handsigns, for ex: just his hand would be covered. If Kakuzu wanted to use a full-body scale, then Mifune would be able to attack since Kakuzu has to make a handsign.

Lopping Kakuzu's head off should still render his body useless IMO. Theoretically, a chakra-enhanced sword should be able to cut the threads cleanly. I don't think Kakuzu's pseudo-immortality would save him from a severed head.

What's your point? Hidan's and Kakuzu's immortality are completely different. I'm not convinced that Kakuzu's version would be able to survive a severed head in any situation.

If you acknowledge that Mifune can blitz Kakuzu once, then why wouldn't he be able to do it again when Kakuzu leaves himself even more wide open? Kakuzu has to bend over and force out his hearts, which isn't the quickest of tasks. While he's busy, Mifune would have time to close in and lop off his head would he not?

Well no, in the newest chapter he just undoes a sring and out them come.
But yes, if you aknowledge mifune blitzes you can't assume in a BL state he is going for the heart instead of the sure-kill and insta-kill headshot.

No I'm not taking any sides I'm just trying to wrap my head around the possibilities who's to say he would even come after the head? Based on what we know let's say Mifune strikes the heart killing Kakuzu once he then just kills off the rest with ease I can see that I guess. I'm just assessing the situati on thinking of different possibilities that's all chill out. :lol:

??? In the war, Kakuzu uses the same method to release his hearts, just in one panel since we already know of it. Ch. 530, pg. 4
